problems with donations again?

Had an email over the weekend to say my recurring payment failed (despite other payments going through ok...)

This morning I was missing my star - so I set up a new donation but haven't got my little star yet :(

The old donation... that was actually cancelled, not sure why PayPal only thought to notify you now. I see you've set up a new one and that one is working fine.

My star has disappeared too :-(

You had an old donation that was about to expire, and set up a new one 2 days before expiry of the old. The old one expired on schedule, and as the system is dumb it took away your star. Just restored it for you.

Hi I am new on here and if I can help with hardware I will I work in Industrial Computers and if you need stuff (be specific) we dont do laptop stuff but drives, caddies, all cost and maybe I can help.

If you're offering on a nearly free basis... we would love server components, 1u's especially.

We'll eventually have revenue, and means to buy our own metal and will need help specc'ing, building, etc. But right now we're in a beg, borrow and steal phase where we're just desperate for all kinds of hardware, from desktops and laptops to help volunteers and interns work, to spare machines for internal continuous integration machines... all the way up to 1u servers (especially those below 2amp in power consumption).

Lower than usual. The result of a few things, including my screwing up and then cancelling the subscriptions late last year. As predicted, not as many people re-subscribed. That all said, it's not quite running on vapours.

So time for a donation drive?
