Have a look at the immediate two posts above yours. The kinlin aren't as shiny but I'm pretty sure they're a good bit cheaper.
If you want really cheap, Sputnik or Andra. They're both heavy and built for touring really.

Actually ignore that^, ADHN are a total bargain.

Got a brand new front Novotec D791SB disc hub going spare if anyone fancies it.
Bought as a pair, but am going for a dynamo on the front.
Black, 32h, QR, 6 bolt, no skewer £30?

Yeah, kinda me too. Had no idea how many great things @cycleclinic are carrying rim-wise... I'm loving the silver tubeless Ambrosios.

so I’m after something to compliment some 32h R45s, so far it’s between TB14 in grey or DT R460... am i missing any other reasonable (budget ish) options?
TB14 = £50 a rim - really like my grey archetypes...
ADHN = £17 a rim
R460 = £30 a rim (tempted by these and maybe mask the brake track and paint them a grey similar to the archetypes)Am I wrong in thinking the Kinlin ADHN seem more comparable to Rigida Sputnik than TB14?
Lastly, does anyone know if you can get DT OXiC in 32h and as a rim only? Any other ‘ceramic’ rims about at the moment?
Cheers,

There are R460DBs without a brake track

BLB has a sales on at the moment, all coloured Velocity Deep V rims are £10 each
a mix of 32h / 36h with no braking surface.
650c and 700c
Narrow but hey, £10 and colourful!

The ADHN is nothing like the stupnik. it shiney and 200g lighter. just like the TB14 but with single eyelets.
-
• #7044
Thats the Deep V only. I think BLB are clearing stock.

Tempted by some silly pink 650b rims. However the 19mm makes no sense for wtb horizon tyres.

The same rims are £20 on the b2b site!

Boyd Atamount Ceramic Rims available from Noble Wheels in London are the only ceramic rims I'm aware that you can buy that aren't built up in factory wheels. I think he's the UK distributor for Boyd

Ok thanks, misread a website quoting weights just shy of 600g...
In your opinion what is the better rim out of the kinlin, R460 or Pacenti SL23
Many thanks,
Matt -
• #7049
There is no pacenti to sl23 the rim is no longer made for a hood reason. V1 was OK but cracked v2 was rubbish and cracked. For tubeless compatability, tension balance, roundness and flatness the current pacenti for a is a better rim than the r460 but it costs a lot more. The kinlin xr226t is a good a rim as the pacenti so I'd go with that. The r460 is not bad though. The main problem I have with them is that they are discounted heavily in Germany and therefore are pointless stocking here.

Same consensus on the SL25 rim?
Kinlin adhn or h plus son tb14
