FTP is 109mm- which is too short!
Needs a 115mm with the stock FSA Carbon cranks to get 42.5mm chainline.

i thought 110 JIS - that FSA vero's a sneaky crankset 'cause of the dishing

Q: Has anyone managed to fit a 32c tyre on the back of a Fuji?
-
• #1506
I've run 28's with plenty of space, though my chain is in the back half of the drop outs... it's the brake stay you've got to watch out for...

quick update: after answering this yesterday i've been thinking about it so had a play. You can run 32's but there're two limiting factors:
You need a halflink chain so you can be a bit more accurate with axle placement, and with your chain tight the axle needs to be about 3/4 of the way down (i.e away from the bike) the dropouts. This gives you just enough room to get the wheel off and on... clearences aren't the problem, it's removing the wheel for punctures etc.
Hope this helps

I'm currently running a set of Nitto B123 bars on my Fuji Track. Now I've moved home from uni everything is more than a 15 minute ride away! Also I've started enjoying longer rides into the country. Track bars no longer make sense and I'm thinking of getting a couple of drop levers so I can ride on the hoods for more comfort long distance. Has anyone fitted drop levers to the standard bars? I'm not fitting them to the Nittos, I can't see that working very well, plus I think it'd be a bit lame.

Drop levers on track bar is a little bit odd to ride on, I'm sure you can find some gorgeous road bar (without groove) to use with levers;

I have an 09 and was thinking of an all white or all black powdercoat. Really dislike the metallic grey finish!

Update:
Received my 09 yesterday. Ordered it on July 6th, so quite quick delivery for Sweden. I also received a Surly 17t, however I don't know it I'm gonna put it on as the 15t feels quite good at the moment. Anyhow, thanks for all the input. Will keep you posted on any major changes I make on it.

This is a 61cm not a track, but I think the geometry is similar?
at the next beers we really need to put yours and mine next to each other and see what, if anything, is different about the frame. The only thing I can see off the bat is the seatstay angle?

Happy owner of a 2008 FUJI since november 2008. I changed the stem, tires, sprocket for a 17t, rear hub for a fixed/fixed All city one that have sealed bearings and handelbars riser one.

Sorry for the massive picture... first too small, then too big. Still, at least you can see it now...

What's the reach on standard Fuji stem and can someone recommend a shorter stem? I think I should have bought a 52 and not a 54...

the stem's 110 i think - the 52's a really small bike... what's your bar setup?
-
• #1522
I know it sounds retarded but I'm shit at measuring. I was hoping someone better had done it.

I'm a small person. I'm 5'5" and I have short arms. I've currently got Nitto B123s on there. On the standard Fuji bars I was most comfortable on the drops, and on the Nittos I'm most comfortable on the tops. I'm pretty sure I've set them both at the same angle.
I just can't get perfectly comfortable on the bike. It's annoying.

Sorry if I missed something, but can I just ask, how is it possible to be "shit at measuring"?
You just measure it in millimeters from the center of the steerer clamp to the center of the bar clamp.
Simples.

You should see me measure then.
anyone know the spindle width of a stock fuji track bottom bracket?
