Samsonite Whatever works, big man. If it's taken care of, that's fine!
I'm around Farringdon/Smithfield all day every day, I can whip by and see you if necessary
am going to probably hand 200 spoke cards to cornelius tomorrow. if anyone wants more, we can arrange something. good to know there are some people in farringdon/clerkenwell for future reference.

Would love to be the 40th rider but is the brick out at number 10, so we may still be 39. Was rolling through greenwhich foot tunnel today and can't wait to hear the echo of a LOT of spds clicking in. anyway...

The Spoke Cards Cometh!!!
I've collected 200 Londonfgss Spoke cards from Hovis, which I'm going to bring down to the Bridges ride. If there's 40 odd riders everyone gets two each, leaving about 40, some of which I'll use so they can be placed in my LBS (Brixton Cycles) - hopefully in their fixed gear cranks, bottom brackets, chains, display case, and any other LBS which people on here have used or know stock fixed bike parts. I was thinking Cavendish Cycles, Mosquito, and can't think of any others at the moment.
Hovis has 4k of the spoke cards so those of you in farringdon/clerkenwell or anywhere adjacent to that get thee in contact so we can spread them out. Also any one who goes to polo should grab some and spread the love down there as well. Need to get the spoke cards in the wheels and hands of the fixed geared of london and beyond
if you haven't seen them then yet find below images of the winning designs.

So we have a JOINT winner of RJM and slamm with these designs:

Let me take the rest, I'm meant to be sending them off to the fixies across the country.

No, I control him remotely using my Jedi powers..

Its not unlikely Saturday turns into a wet-like-Dunwich experience. No excuses please! I am sure a more seasoned member of fgss (the daddy) will check the list at start...

Owing to a string of other engagements this weekend and my previous participation in mass-start "deluge" events I reserve the right to bail at any time - before, during and after the ride. My lawyers are just now drafting the formal document with words to this effect.

Right, an update for those willing to brave the precipitation.
Start: Cutty Sark Gardens from about 9:20. I'll be somewhere between the "Gypsy Moth" pub and the entrance to the foot tunnel. If it's raining I'll be hiding in the entrance itself. I will not be in the pub because I'm not bringing my lock. So, if nobody turns up to hold my bike, I'll have to go without my half of Guinness.
I'm on a black Fuji with a white top tube protector.
Travel times based on my standard pootling speed of 12 mph.
Depart Cutty Sark Gardens 9:45.
Deptford Bridge 9:50. This is for those who miss the Cutty Sark start. We won't be stopping, so you'll have to keep an eye out for us to go past and then catch up.
Brixton Town Hall. 10:15ish. Might stop good time for a stretch.
**Clapham Common. 10:25ish **A good place for anyone from Balham/Tooting who wants to tag along.
Kew Green: around 11:15.
If you want to pick the bus up somewhere else, let me know and I'll keep an eye out for you.
If you need to call: zero seven nine seven one six six zero eight zero two.
Remember, bring food. The North Easties will be starting at a bagel shop; I'd rather save my bonking for when I'm off my bike.
A little rain won't kill you.
See you then.

How many miles is it?
And what kind of pace...?
So if the route is still going through Brixton I might pick it up there...
