purple american apparel hoodie? i keep getting called a homo when i wear mine out. it might be because it matches my rear deep V though.
-
• #3033
@ dopecasio - nice wheels dude, nice to see all round non machined Vees.
looks like you have a brick mounted instead if a rear light?
-
• #3034
That's a safety brick...
-
• #3035
sano, where's the new build? pics?
-
• #3036
I thought I did that?
Love it or hate it, here she is...
Fort lo-pro steel frame, paint stripped off
650c carbon front wheel (I'm told it's a Corima, but that's not what the stickers said when I got it. Makes a lovely whirring noise when you're riding)
There's a Sugino/Condor black crank and chainring on now as well, £50 from Condor including the chainring, a bargain
FBM BMX stem, mountain bike jump bars, broken saddle. The chain ain't slack, it's the angle of the photo. I've got a Conti Top Contact tyre on the back, too, thoroughly recommended

it's a good'n sano. love that finish. reminds me of my favourite bike ever on FGG - can't be bothered to look it up right now. what did you do with your Bob Jackson in the end?
-
• #3040
jonny, did that one have a wound-up fork on it?
if so, i likey too. -
• #3041
31trum, can't remember dude. will dig it out actually. was from a few years ago but still the nicest bike i have seen on there.
-
• #3042

-

but also nice man.It fucking isnt! Look at the top of the chain - what's that? Anti slack? Cnuts... It's the wide angle, motherfuckers!
Jonny, I kept the Bob Jackson. Once I've built my new rear wheel for the rust bike, she will returned to her former glory and ridden more often.

I seee the light!
its all in the colour scheme. it has that started-to-strip-it-and-thought-fuck-it-so-clear-coated-it feel but with a touch of see-whats-left-in-this-spray-can.
It shouldn't work like a scouser. but it does. good spot i'm now going to fuk my paint job and see how we go...

Purple Hoody riding the Berlin Metro matches the wheel you see...white zip - back purple - front. Its an old picture and yes light was a temporary thing now removed. You got to love cheap old cat eye for when you forget your lights!

greasy slaaag, go visit 1868 and he tells a story of all the dings and welds he has needed. this bike has lived. not unlike your Claud and indeed your uhh, was it a lemond you introduced to the escarpments of the chilterns. hope you are healing well dude
-
• #3047
Nice work, i'll take a look
it was the lemond. i was planning to remove the paint from just the one side. Tynan has since mentioned something about sandpaper, i only had to ask!
i have the fracture clinic tmrw to take the dressing of, a small piece of metal now makes me part bionic, i might let that rust up? fingers crossed i'll be back out in a few weeks
