  • nice frame, Joe Waugh owns a bike shop near where I live. How long you had that for?

  • Not long, 9 months maybe. Its the only one I've seen that doesn't have a mad 80s fluro paint scheme. You're up in Gateshead I assume?

  • Now with white shoes.

    • white drop-outs :)
  • build, forgot to ask, what happened about your yellow nag?

nice bike by the way, as usual.

  • *and *a matching white radiator thermostat.

  • That is the "yellow" Nag. Reborn

  • oh wow. who did what? did you send it home?

    • pearl drop-outs :)

    thats better ;)

I took it to Argos in Bristol. They inspected it, They were a bit "is that it?" When I took it in there. They said they have seen far worse. They used some kind of hydraulic tool/press to form the tube and push the dent out.

It cost just under £200. They repaired the dent, re-sprayed in pearl white, applied transfers under clear coat. And painted in all the detail. They did an A1 job. Highly recommended.

  • are you able to claim the £200 back?

  • No. Win some loose some ;]

  • shame. still, bloody nice bike

  • TBH I wasn't so keen on yellow anyway.

    • white drop-outs :)

  • ha, Argos did them too ;)

  • applied transfers under clear coat.

Why not clearcoat after applying the transfers? Too easy?

Removed the originals. Scanned, into Illustrator to be traced. Emailed design to print company. Also sent the originals to the print company. As I don't have a pantone chart to colour match.

  • really well done.
