  • Nice to meet you on Saturday, Superprecise. Nice ride, are they Ironman tyres? I like.

  • nah, hutchinson quartz. you like? you wanna buy? i'm changing them. they have much life left in them. likewise nice to meet you.

  • i like your tea poster super

  • monsieur scruff!

  • wooph!! :) :) ... just put the (almost) final bits on the Vivalo! .. unless i decide that i need some caps on the cranks, but do i? :)
Sorry for spamming the site with yet a few more photos of the bike, but i'm very happy! :)

Just gave it a quick spin down the street and back, and apart from the stem being way to long (i knew that already, have a 80mm in order that should work better with those persuit-bars) it feels nice..
can't wait until the salt is gone (they use WAY to much of that shit in Copenhagen) so that i can use it :)

What needs to be done is off cause to put some cloth-bartape on it, and i'm thinking about cutting just 1-1½ cm of the ends on the bars off, since it's useless material.
But i'll properly wait with that until hubjob gets my 80mm pearl-stem home..

  • I like the DA stuff.. you must be very flexible..

  • Nice Vivalo.
I love the crazy flowery print design thingy bob going on in the paint work!!!

  • lucky7 Nice Vivalo.

hippy: flexible? are you referring to the riding position? else, i'm not getting you..

Yes.. there appears to be a 2-foot drop from saddle to bars.. with saddle way forward on rails.. it looks painful.

Oh, i'll tell you that when i have done more riding on the bike.. the forward saddle is mostly to compensate for the way to long stem.
I have a normal Nitto bullhorn i might choose if i find that the drop is to deep to be comfortable with the pursuit-bar.

  • My Aston Martin DB9!

    Me! (Luke, architects twin bro)

  • wot no arrospok?

  • i tried pulling wheelies with it on the front and it was kind of heavy so i might put one on the back, i like it simple though.

  • haj wooph!! :) :) .

i chopped the entire curved bit off the end of my rb021s - they're much better like that I think plus it's much easier to get your leg over the front without making a fool of yourself..

  • i think that bike would have looked a bit odd with the spok looks nice as it is

  • skinwalls are siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!

  • The Advertiser My Aston Martin DB9!

nice! black brooks though, not honey for me!

  • Time to add my fat head to this, some of you have bought bit's off of me and it's been nice meeting you all. Next on the list is a group ride.
Took this out for a trial spin this morning (better than rocking it back and forth in the kitchen) and it's nice, building new wheels as well and the bar's need a bit of tinkering with. Otherwise, done! This is not the first and i doubt it will be the last but it's a keeper.

    Cheers, Chris
