Not sure what exactly itsbruce intended, but equating a forum member with a successful, handsome movie star doesn't strike me as racist.

  • it's a running joke. don't question it too much.

  • I got that, but the joke hasn't usually involved people of colour.
    I'm also very naive.

  • That's quite a list wibble, your work?

It just seemed to be a particularly Will-Smith pose. Also the ears. He probably doesn't look anything like Will when he's not gurning. Although if Will Smith is ever looking for an ear double, I think he has it nailed.

nop, there is a thread somewhere

one of them is mine, early forum history

  • I got that, but the joke hasn't usually involved people of colour.
    I'm also very naive.

Appreciate your point however I put quite a lot of thought into it because it felt wrong, but decided it probably wouldn't be taken seriously as it is a running joke.

  • Racist

  • Wow, that's a lot of electro-ink dedicated to my misconstrued interpretation.
I apologize, and let's move on.

  • Bought the F&F last year just never real had the motivation to take any pics and put it up here.. quiet Saturday and supposed to be studying so perfect time to do something completely unproductive....

    And my other bike

and me after a 17 day hike to Everest base camp....

  • I know it hasn't been asked for but in my opnion I think you should change the rims to some deep section black ones and then wrap in black bar tape. take two of those spacers out at least (probs just slam the stem to be on the safe side) and then cut down the fork steerer. Other than that nice build :)

  • Hey mate

Appreciate the feedback and agree I could make it look much more aggressive. It definitely needs some different wheels and removing the spacers would make a huge difference... just that it is kinda comfortable at the moment! Cheers for the comment....

  • I really like the wheels! Not so sure about the stem though.

  • Its a kimori stem right? I think they fall right on the line between hideous and beautiful I like them personally. (if you want a change I have a silver nitto ahead in 26 mm clamp you can buy) ;)

  • Yep it's a Kimori stem. I was in two minds when I bought it but I really like it now. Plus it's a nice piece of engineering, CNC'd out of a solid block of Aluminium, far nicer than anything Nitto offer.
Saying that the Nitto CT-80 would maybe tempt me.

  • These are my bikes:

Raleigh Richmond, used everyday but somewhat mechanically neglected. Slack chain and mudguard. You might have spotted me creaking up the hill at Percy Circus, or unsuccessfully trying to trackstand and then pretending I couldn't really be arsed anyway.

    61cm Holdsworth Triath-Elan with mostly Shimano 600 - deserves a better picture

    And this is me

I don't normally have the black dot.

Nah keep your Kimori its much nicer than that heavy lump

  • Step out in front of me ped. I will crush you.

  • deary me, look like the scoblasitis is spreading!

  • Serious. But a little early for the studs? Unless they they actually are intended for combat purposes.
