I think the worst bit is my husband is finally getting into bikes, and guess what he wants?
A charge.
None of my classic taste has rubbed off on him it seems.

get him a steamroller!

I know, we've been having very delicately worded conversations to try and figure out what about the Charge he likes so that I can help sort him out a real bike that he will actually ride.

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference? From a glance all i can see is that the geometry on this one looks slightly sharper.

I've got it. It's a good bike, prefer the colour to any of the others although my only gripe is that so many people have it and the brake lever isn't clamp on...makes it nigh-on impossible to put on other bars but the stock ones..which are actually pretty nice.

it's the same bike, it-s cheaper to get the standard Plug, put cheap riser on it, and you're sorted.

Hey,
I'm one of those short people (about 5,5ft - 170cm) and I would really like to purchase Charge Plug Grinder bike. I checked Small size at Evans last year but it is slightly too big so it might be a bit risky in some situations. ;)
So now I'm looking for XS version but it is only listed at Charge website. I checked all online shops and I have never seen an actual XS version available at any shop. I emailed Charge but there was no answer from them since they do not sell their bikes.Maybe anyone here could give me some advice?
Thanks!
I'm a shortarse aswel, any look on finding an XS to try out? I'll have a look round here (manchester) and let you know if I find anything.

they are super heavy even with the low profile rims...the dark ages of bike building all over again.

Come on, it might not be everyone's cup of tea but surely it's nice to see some British built stuff for a change. And for an OTP all of the Charge styles are pretty good

Balderdash.
They aren't light but they certainly aren't super heavy.
