Yeah, it's perfect riding weather.
Good to see you illy and lpg, and nice to meet you mikec. I had to outrun a police car on the way back. Went through a red, mainly to get some distance between me and some twats that had been cutting me up along Hackney Rd. Not dangerous, no pedestrians, traffic stopped in all directions.
F*cking pigs obviously had nothing better to do than pull out of their lane, U-turn, and try to catch up with me before a long line of stationary traffic... and then car unfriendly rat runs :)

did you early birds have a good ride?
I got there about 1130 for a few laps, really nice weather. down to short sleeves by the first lap.
but really, people need to leave the cars at home on sundays

I've got tan lines! A fscking tan! In England! In Feb!
(mind you I couldn't move my arms for the first lap - combo of Powerball and frost)

most of the serious cyclists had gone by the time I got there..
the sun was out, there weren't many cyclists there (compared to what I thought it might be like) and my bike has stopped making the squeaking noise it was making on friday and I only had to swear at about five drivers.
recovery meal is two rounds of bacon, cheese and tomato sarnies and two glasses of malbec.so all is right with the world.

I've been looking at the weather forecast for Fri night/Sat morning, and also the patch of scar tissue on my right hip, and I'm starting to get cold feet about the planned ride for this Saturday.
Will have to see how the forecast develops over the next 24hrs...

keep me posted BMMF. am up for tomorrow morning, taking it slow on downhills if still a bit icy. am trying to be good and using the fact there is riding to be done as a way of keeping me away from the trixie chix thing tonight. i have very little will power you see.
am up for gloucester gate at 0900. but no pressure dude. i got no recent scars itching at me.
take this 'recovery' thing to the next level. eat cake and drink beer this arvo!!!
just got back from RP. did two laps. what a difference a crash makes. i was so slow goin down, at turns, along cambers and ruts, steering felt twitchy, front wheel felt light. anyway good to be out again.
