Moving on, Wiggle have turned around a pretty bad T-shirt, I noticed Milltag put together a yellow jersey with mod target too. Guess the merchandising is gearing up and no-one was prepared.

It says that it's an Adidas T-shirt... maybe it's an official thing then? -

I don't think Wiggle would get involved with snide merchandise

To be fair, that's at least an original and good design. Howies have done well to turn that around so fast.

I think we need a forum one with 'Creeping Death' under a line of Sky riders

Even the German is smiling, they weren't in Hamburg where I was..they thought Greipel was gonna win.

It seems as if Cavendish has the CE sprint sewn up by riding from the front. No-one else has been able to get back on terms with him once he's been off the front--is there a tailwind? Greipel was much too far back, as was Sagan. The winning margin with Renshaw in second two years ago (?) was ridiculous.

Cav said the best way to get the jump was just as they come round the last corner, before the rivals get there. Wiggo and Boassen Hagen did the job and gave it the beans just as they hit it, and the competition had to work so hard to catch up to the Sky lead out that the sprinters where too knackered to catch him.

here's hoping the guys I saw at eurostar Paris with bikes in bits in bags earlier got let on ok. I've a hunch they may tune in here given the cinelli track frame I spotted poking thru one of the bags.
chapeau for riding there too!

^ Sagan. Literally lad(s) on Tour.
Bit dismissive of 'G'
Is suggesting he's a potential classics winner for Sky a bit dismissive? Perhaps you should tell us he'll never win, just to up his chances?

Would just like to give an honourable mention to Jens, 40 years old and on the last day of the Tour still finding ways to make everyone suffer, a hero.

Ah - I thought you were saying he wasn't classics material. But why rule him out of the tour? He has shown about the same level of promise as Wiggins had by 26.

We won the Tour de France.
A British rider won the Tour de France.
I'm still not able to digest this, so fuck knows what's going on in Wiggo's head.
I keep going on about the Olympic TT and road race, 'cause it's easier to get my head round than trying to tackle the concept of a British tour winner.
Anyone else feel completely over whelmed?
No, it was just the best* article explaining the John Terry meme
*best I could find with 30s of googling
