"Not cool that ASO made Bradley Wiggins look like a Liquorice Allsorts today. Not very mod."

They should really give those stupid yellow helmets to the team that causes the most crashes, not the leaders.
Do yellow helmets cause less crashes statistically? -

Do more podium girls get bedded by riders with yellow helmets stastitically?

I don't have figures to hand but aren't yellow cars the safest on the road?
Regardless, those helmets are more of a punishment than a reward so they should be allocated as such.
Remind me of stack hats from my childhood.

It was very good that Cancellara was there," he said. "It was good to take it easy behind him."
or perhaps he isn't interested in podium girls

I'm sure I heard that the cyclists are forbidden from bedding the podium girls, so it's the mechanics who get to fettle the bottom brackets...

No chance. Sagan might let them have seconds but Wiggo hasn't got any kilocalories to spare for that kind of thing.

We'll know for sure if Sagan does the YMCA after winning today.

'does' the entire YMCA, then the podium girls. Then a chicken dance.

In the final 1.5km Cancellara initiated the sprint uphill. Peter Sagan ramped up his cadence to over 120rpm to stay with him and averaged 493 watts in the last 2 minutes 20 seconds of the race.
So far the withdrawals list is clear so it looks like Tony Martin made the start.
The peloton is taking it easy currently rolling along at ~ 40kph.

One of the Rabobank boys was wearing an odd lid - looked like a track helmet. Anyone else notice?
