Oh yeh, good easy draining clay. Floods with the slightest rain and bakes solid with the briefest sun. I must have stabbed the bloody thing a million times with a fork and still it won't drain.

Dig a pond for it to drain in to.

Dig out channels, from multiple points in the garden, to where you want to drain to, fill them with gravel and top them with topsoil & turf.
Worked wonders for my parents garden which all clay soil.

Holy kak that was some biblical thunder and special effects ghostbusters lightning and no mistake. Does anyone actually recall when rain wasn't as regular or as torrential? Please tell me one or two of us was out riding in that!
