Was working for Charrington's then; all the traffic off the Commercial Road followed my ale van's lights into the brewery yard, even the buses. Took hours to clear the dead end.

Cycled back to my parents house today after work. Through Richmond Park and Kingston, all the way to Ottershaw. My God RP... Must have been sub zero.

Gradually as I got home, the roads were getting frostier and icier, fingers number and number. At one point my eye lashes had got stuck together due to icicles forming!? By the time I got home, my shorts, Sidis and jacket had all frosted over completely.

For the first time, I don't think my rapha rain coat was warm enough. #wantsoftshell.
