  • That foam sometimes happens in Whitby. It's been in piles twenty feet high before now.

    It freaks me out.

  • Door all fixed. No more wet carpet. Well done everest.

  • The bare metal/rat look is quite in just now though……..people pay good money for sandblasting…….

    every cloud

  • looks like a foam party
a dirty foam party at manu mission ibiza

  • where are you eightball ? which part of the country ?

  • Aberdeen, N.E Scotland

  • wow what a website andy, love those dials / gauges

    anemometer fail ha

  • Despite a wet end to the month, September was the 10th sunniest on the national record dating back to 1929. http://bit.ly/PTWIc5

  • how did they track that? segments on weathva

  • by the way, am I only one having the impression that metoffice forecasts are heavily fucked up these days (let's say last 2 months)?

  • the IT YTS trainees they got in to " help " tweak the weather model seem to have been spending too much doing other stuff

    meme-ing / hunting porn etc.

  • I believe that there are "inconsistencies within the model which are being investigated", i.e. their computer projections don't marry up with reality, which is something of a problem.

Fingers crossed they'll sort it out.

  • nah i like the lottery of the weather

hand out of front door palm up, see how she's doing ... then look to the horizon where possible and see how she's doing for about an hour into the future ... thats plenty for bimbling about town

no computer will ever be powerful enought to tame mother nature

  • yes but it's not enough too see if I'll get soaked on my way home 8 hour after :)
but actually you're right, who cares, it's only water.

  • accuweather has been fine

  • yes but it's not enough too see if I'll get soaked on my way home 8 hour after :)

  • just do the same on the way home simples ? non ?

yeah... no... it's to plan on the clothes to bring along front...

  • ^ can you keep spare clothes at work?

  • and you can get wet riding home because hopefully you'll have some method of washing at your abode

  • Hello autumn! Rain + wind + wet leaves = fun. Do not lean people. Couple of moments when I thought I might get blown over this morning.

  • it's windy out there today, almost blown to a halt cycling east to west
    temp lovely though

  • by the way, am I only one having the impression that metoffice forecasts are heavily fucked up these days (let's say last 2 months)?

last night was a good case in point of this
got in about 11 last night and looked at the weather forecast for this morning
when it showed the current weather i.e. at 11pm - midnight it showed the whole of the south under a deluge of rain .. but i can attest that as i was cycling home it was perfectly dry

their weather forecast would have been more accurate with a hand out of the front door

  • Dicki your hand out the door worked fine as it was drizzling when I left but not so well a couple miles in when it starting coming down in sheets...
