Flood alert? For reals? Well done flood alert people. If I have to get my tshirt and shorts a little bit wet and then find out on lfgss there was supposed to be a flood don't you think you could try a little bit harder to be 1) accurate about your 'floods' and 2) useful when it comes to an "alert". I've seen more water in the sahara. #fail
Of course if this is all news propoganda, humble apologies flood lovers.

Fuck waterproofs. all about long sleeve merino sponges
really?
-
• #3542
Yes, waterproofs make me boil and end up drenched with sweat. Merino at least keeps me the right temperature.

I bought a Mavic softshell last year for £60 that works a treat. It has to really hammer down for me to get wet and it's super breathable. Too hot for all but the depths of winter though.
