  • see that's what happens when you let designers on the loose (plus the output of this forum)

  • dogsballs you on the forum drunk again hippo??
by the way had another nice ride into work today, must be half term, no traffic.

Um.. yes. Mate wanted to watch football last night.. had to make it entertaining didn't I?

  • dogsballs i say when he reads this post after getting into work at 11.30 due to bus/tube delays PLUS a massive hangover from last night :p

Oddly enough I was in a feckin' chirpy mood this morning. Ran for bus, got it, bus was fast, got seat on Tube, Tube didn't stop, read paper. All very civilised.

Super productive too until about an hour ago when I turned this fuggin' machine on and starting posting here..

If all goes to plan (it wont) I should have the GT ready tonight.

  • and you going to mtb to work or sit it in the corner

  • dogsballs and you going to mtb to work or sit it in the corner

The plan is to get the GT running so I can ride to work. When I get the cranks off AlexB I can worry about building Armstrong.. and what doesn't fit.. etc

  • bootiful

  • i guess washing my jackets was a bad idea last night, damn

  • So the bad weather cull begins... fingers crossed this'll clear the roads from those fair weather cyclists...ACE!

  • im glad im at home.....

  • rain is good. quieter roads. longer skids. yee haa!

  • Lots of wind, and lots of dry leaves.

Once it rains, we'll have sludge as the brittle leaves all break-up.

  • holy hell. i was just caught in a mini hurricane or similar. 60 seconds on full-on rain and wind

  • i saw that hurricane in marylebone, it was wierd.

    one word people:

    MUDGUARDS

try them, help other people stay dry as well as alleviating your own sodden anus.

  • mudguards - yeah, i think i'm giving up on that waterbottle thing, doesn't work!

  • there were times this last year when i had to go buy new and dry undies from H&M in the morning after a ride to work that soaked me to the bone. luckily i worked in apparel design so grabbing spare jeans and stuff was easy, but it was dumb to get so wet i had buy new pants. i was commuting on my ol' bmx and used to sling my back pack right down over my arse to act as a mudflap. ha! i am a knob. i have seen the light and cannot praise my crappy X3 german crappy mudguard. oh yes.

  • geeeeeeeeeeez uuuuuusssssssss!, feckin' blowin' a gale, all the way home...

  • it rained for two hours yesterday, just as i was going home :(

a brief Paris-Roubaix section and I stacked it big time. damn cobbles. somehow managed to walk off the bike as it went down. wet arse!

  • I didn't leave office til 18.30, so I think I missed all the chaos. If you don't like the rain.. work more! :P

  • first time this season below zer0!! low of -1degC overnight...take care tomorrow morning and rug up!

  • coming back form the deep south east at about 5....the sky looked amazing! ohhh i love it!

  • yeah, i love this colder weather. the ski socks had their first outing of the year on the bike this morning. and i might have to dig out my Sidi Scarpe Thermals, aka the Ninja Boots, pretty soon too.

  • Thought it was a bit chilly riding home at 7 tonight.. gonna be fun tomorrow mornin' :)

  • i have got a pair of these:

haven't tried them yet, they feel well made.

  • I might don the full leg warmers and toe warmers.. then again.. it depends on what I can actually see at half six in the morning..
I'm more likely to douse myself with coffee than find correct cycling attire.

  • shorts are still ok, but damn, my toes are freeeezing!
