  • Was created by Lucas, when he still owned it. Now Disney own it. What's your point?

  • Everyone makes mistakes. How any versions of the hulk?

How many batmans version, and how many were great films.

How many great films were box office successes?

  • Saw the Raid 2.
    So good.
It's better than the first, and the first was awesome.

Dallas Buyers Club, better than I thought it would be. Less depressing than you expect.

Getaway. Terrible, one of the worst films I've seen in a while.

  • Dom Hemmingway, a steaming turd of a movie. Trying too hard to be Sexy Beast crossed with Lock Stock but with none of the charm or humour. And it was shit. Did I mention it was shit?

  • I thought it was fun in a caricature kind of way but the storyline was almost non-existent.

  • I can't believe I'd never seen The Graduate before last week. Such a great film, barely dated apart from a couple of the filming techniques, and now the ending Wayne's World 2 is even funnier.

  • Anyone watching Machete? Danny just sliced a bloke's stomach open and grabbed an intestine, jumped out of the window hanging on to the gut and swung in the window the floor below.

    #anatomically correct.

  • It's on my films to watch when the girlfriend is away list.

  • Actually it's shit. Robert De Niro must owe loads of money or something.

  • the borderlands, looks shit, is shit.

I watched it, so you don't have to.

  • Just watched the Ramones documentary for the first time, can't believe I'd never seen it before... Very depressing...

  • Well late to the American Hustle party, finally watched it on Bank Holiday Monday.

    MEH.

    Amy Adams's constant cleavage/sideboob though.

  • The Raid 2 - fantastic. So much violence that I felt a little bit exhausted on leaving the cinema. If you didn't like the first one because you felt that the plot was too threadbare then you might prefer this one. It has more in the way of that kind of thing.

    MEH.

Same, finally watched it also on Monday. Very MEH. Was trying to be too many things.

  • Amy Adams looks like a squirrel, woodland creature....whatever

  • Crispin Glover's at Hackney Picturehouse tonight

    hyperventilates

  • Maybe he'll sign my "What Is It?" poster!

    (probably nsfw).

  • revisited Fargo in preparation for the undoubtedly hackneyed tv series...damn those Coen boys make good movies

  • Just watched Blue Ruin... Really good, pretty grim but couldn't take my eyes off the screen...

  • Stranger Than Fiction. Solid 8/10. Amazingly didn't have the urge to slap Will Ferrell. Oh and I now adore Maggie Gyllenhaal.

You'd be best to avoid the TV Fargo then... You will be disappoint

  • Mud. I'm no film critic so all I'll say is what an enjoyable film. It felt more like a teenage coming of age film with other bits entwined but I loved it. Beautiful depiction of a drab slice of southern America if you excuse my oxymoron.

Saw Calvary this afternoon. Good cast. Good acting. Good scenery. Really fucking sad film. Some of the characters wound me up so much but I really enjoyed it.

    Recommend both.

  • "Her"
Just for the "of course shes seeing other people shes a machine, and shes
    Scarlett Johansson" moment.

  • Half way through I, Frankenstein, it's fucking awful.
