You know so you don't need to waste your time with the other one.

  • Still dont beat Bale in the Machinist imo.

The physical changes that man goes through simply for a part is incredible

  • Anybody seen "john dies in the end?"

    Please, no spoilers.

  • Still dont beat Bale in the Machinist imo.

    Hanks in Philadelphia?

  • Hanks didn't then become Batman in a year

  • Finally bit the bullet and saw Wolf of Wall Street. 6/10.

Anything good out at the minute?

  • Apart from the Lego movie?

  • Gary Oldman has let down now he's in Robocop. Bad move

  • Oldman on the Graham Norton show claimed he was the highest-grossing actor of all time. From scant Googling I did that's certainly up for debate.

  • Katie Price was at the premiere, in Leicester Square I imagine, wearing some daft fluffy things around her ankles. I thought so highly of her beforehand too. Now she's tarnished like old brass.

  • Finally bit the bullet and saw Wolf of Wall Street. 6/10.

6/10??? I thought it was tremendous. I also enjoyed Captain Jack (fucking tense), the new Cohen brothers' film, bits of the Armstrong Lie, and American Hustle. I enjoyed WoWS the most

  • Captain Phillips? Hanks is incredibly affecting in the closing scene. Now and again he reminds you what a good actor he is.

  • Yes!

I thought that was Sam Jackson?

Also rumours flying around Oldman will be in the new Star Wars.

  • I loved it when Gary Oldman used to do his "What'chu talkin' 'bout, Willis?" catchphrase.

  • What is everyones best Oldman movie/scene?

  • True Romance. Saw that film tripping balls in a completely empty cinema in York, bonfire night 1993.

liked him in that obscure Roeg flick, Tarck 29
came out of Nil by Mouth feeling like my whole heart had been ripped out and put back in
all the funny stuff like fifth element. hes got, er, versatility

  • Hanks didn't then become Batman in a year

Then Bale lost all the bulk again the next year for Rescue Dawn.

  • ^^ Leon - The Professional

Despite owning Nil By Mouth for years on VHS it never went back near my video marvel player after its first airing. Didn't quite find the stomach for a repeat viewing, although I do remember a lovely track accompanying one of the scenes where Kathy Burke recovers from another beating.

  • Something called "Box Office Mojo" has Hanks at number one, Oldman 14th:
