  • Doc Strange next. or BP.

  • I'm more interested in the Silver Surfer movie...

  • Watched 12 years a slave and thought it was good, but not great. I thought the level of Direction and acting was good all round, though Brad Pitt's accent was a bit OTT. Should he win best director, no. He should have one for Shame or Hunger. Personally I feel Spike Jonze should Win. With Matthew McConahgy winning best actor for Dallas Buyers Club.

  • too much backstory. the fanboys will rip anything less to shreds.

  • Doctor Strange would also be awesome tho'... My fave Avengers were in the 70s, I LOVED Vision... He was fantastic...

BTW Really enjoyed Inside Llewyn Davies, I thought John Goodman wasn't in it for long enough... His character was great...

  • vision... who was made by Hank Pym if memory serves... as well as Ultron, which they'll probably ignore in the next avengers movie.

/or was that the other way round?
    /wasted youth

  • they're making an Ant Man movie. has anyone other than the most neckbearded of comic book dorks ever even heard of Ant Man?

  • ^lol

  • Isn't one of these men Antman?

    Don't know which one though

  • Grudge Match - nice movie. Guess De Niro and Stallone wanted to work together before their times were up.

  • august ossage county: a film about terrible white people with lots of ACT-ING! alright, if you like that sort of thing.

Their times were up years ago, no?

  • That film is getting a kicking in the reviews, I thought it was ok.

  • Saw Inside Llewellyn Davis yesterday. I enjoyed the understated tone, the focus on the less Glam side of the 60s folk revival where more people failed than succeeded. The element of luck and circumstance that nurtured a Dylan and damned a Davis.
(My gf found it too bleak)

Loved the music and the usual Coen bros vignettes

  • All is Lost is out on iTunes. at least here in the states it is.

    honestly screw the coen brothers.

lewbowski and no country for old men were the only movies deserving of all the attention they get.

  • I'm not a fanboy by any stretch of the imagination, but you can't forget Fargo. Probably my favourite of their films, and easy top-ten for the 90s.

  • Blood Simple, I don't think they've really bettered that first film

  • Raising Arizona, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? There are many more, your argument is invalid...

  • Fargo is great, and Oh brother is a lot of fun.

  • I've enjoyed every coen brothers film with Fargo and the Big L being highlights followed by the one with John Turturo as a blocked scriptwriter in a hotel with burning corridors
    (I am clearly a fanboy -actually a fan-senile-old-man)
