  • Twelve years a slave was fucking incredible.

Hard to watch at several points.

  • Looking forward to it but I think I'm going to wait until I'm in the right mood for it.

  • Agreed. It's making out it's an action movie with depth, but it doesn't have any, so becomes not as good as a dumb action movie which doesn't try to be anything but.

Notable good dumb action movies from this year: GI Joe 2, FF6, Expendables 2 and RED 2.

i don't watch movies twice, yet i've watched this 3 times:

  • Twelve years a slave was fucking incredible.

Hard to watch at several points.

    Everyone should see it.

  • The cuts to long shots of haunting landscapes just after intensely something dark happened to let you reflect on what you had just seen were incredible. Uncomfortable viewing.

  • Really enjoyed Wolf of Wall Street... It's really just Goodfellas with stock brokers but lots of fun all the same...

has marty lost it? Too scared to watch as a fanboi

  • Nah, it's good, just not hugely original.

  • dallas buyers club. better than all the movies on this page by a country and western mile.

  • Yeah? IMDB page sounded a bit shit, I'll give it a go.

  • Actually, that sounds alright, I don't know what I read about it before.

  • matthew macwotsitfeatures does some scarily unhealthy looking skinnying up for it. good to see his new agent is holding off on the shit romcom gigs, he's better than that.

  • dallas buyers club. better than all the movies on this page by a country and western mile.

Dallas buyers club is on the previous page, keep up.

  • His statement could still be true then.

  • it could, but Her is as good.

  • It's "she" is as good, and I agree, Kerry Katona is an unappreciated national treasure.

  • Wolf on Wall Street cant believe its 3 hrs long. Just hedonistic mayhem.

  • Really made me want to try some ludes.

  • hehe, I am watching it right now.

  • Just finished the secret life of Walter Mitty, a lot better than Stiller's usual guff, a bit twee and predictable but actually a pretty decent film.

  • it is

  • but not as good as the trailer

  • Yeah saw that last night not too bad. Also saw Lone Survivor today. Based on a true story, war film.

  • this is us watching movies
