Surely he likes that one with the killer robots. It's got Harrison Ford in it.

    Indiana Jones?

Okay then, lets have a look at you most recent reviews.

Gravity - worth seeing but a bit meh.

    0/1

Filth is easily the best film I've seen in 5 years or more

    1/2

I put Skyfall on last night, to see if I could get over my James Bond film phobia - nope, 45 mins in I had to turn it off - utter garbage I stand firm - James Bond films are fucking shit.

    1/3*

    Just watched Black Swan. Wank.

    1/4

I followed up Black Swan with Children of Men, which was dire
Attack the Block was harmless fun though

    2/6

^ a proper old fashioned great story told well with great acting

    3/7

In a World. Enjoyed it, snappy and funny dialogue

    4/8

    The Worlds End - 6/10
    Taking of Pelham 123 - 4/10
    The Bourne Legacy - 7/10
    Looper - 4/10 -

    6/12

I've got the book somewhere, also excellent

Let me In - 6/10 - who'd have thought it

    Final score
    8/14

Just over 50% positive, I'll give that a pass. You don't hate films. Though it feels like it reading your posts.

*though if you count all the james Bond films that's another 22 dislikes. So maybe you do.

  • That post seems a bit picknicty - it's not meant to. I'm bored and I thought I'd be a smart alec and call you out as it comes across that you never enjoy any films. But it seems your film reviews are balanced and I was wrong. Fairplay.

  • No that's fine. A harmless romp. Though I wonder about the main protagonists motivation. 7/10

    Westworld?

I LOLd. I didn't mean it in an 'I'm pissed off' kind of way, more that I only recall seeing you saying bad things about films so wondered what sort of film you did like.

    Westworld?

No you're thinking of Kevin Costner in that post apocalyptic film with a bike gang and muscle cars.

  • 1959 short documentary "Glas" by Bert Haanstra:

  • Last Days On Mars was stupid... Really stupid...

Really enjoyed Red, Clear History and Percy Jackson...

  • i saw the poster for LDOM... it's a poundstore prometheus isn't it?

  • If only it were that good...

  • It was chugging along nicely 'til they ruined it with the überlame story/plot development...
    #fileunderbmovie

  • Taking of Pelham 123 - 4/10

    That's very generous

  • does it have Rutger Hauer in it?

  • does it have Rutger Hauer in it?

Sounds familiar. What else is he in?

  • Idea for film extravaganza. Plot, thus: Malcolm McDowell is trapped in the future. He's being pursued by a cyberpunk from the past, played by Rutger Hauer.

  • Why do people rated RED? I've seen the last one and thought it was dull.

  • the lack of any clarence boddicker remains a concern.

    ^This.

  • Why do people rated RED? I've seen the last one and thought it was dull.

Silly plot made watchable by plenty of screen time with elite actors.

  • good list - remember The Changeling freaking me out - not seen The Haunting and now very much want to

  • Watched *Crystal Fairy *and The To-Do List last night...

I thought Cera played a really annoying jerk very well, Gaby Hoffman made me laugh even tho' she reminded me of a lot of the silly hippies I've known in the past... I just found them annoying... Enjoyed it...

Aubrey Plaza is incredible, I love her, she can do no wrong... R-rated teen movie pretty much sums it up... Silly but fun...

  • The Woman in Black - quite enjoyable old Hammer style horror, fairly creepy in places - 7/10
