I'm watching that tonight... Or Last Days on Mars... Or Red 2...
Haven't decided yet...

Okay, that's a MUCH better trailer. Now I want to watch it.

the lack of any clarence boddicker remains a concern.

Enders Game. An alright way to waste 90mins or so. Daft ending.
If you want philosophical debate around war and child soldiers this is not it.

written by a bit of cunt tho...

Red 2 was an amusing romp... Watching The Dark Wolvinator Man now... Mrs TS has gone to bed early with a cold...
-

Red was better though.
Last days on Mars could have been really good but the story is so thin, alluded to a couple of things but never really expanded on them. Quite spooky though.
Thor 2 was shite, not even shite in a fun way like the rest of them.

I haven't seen Red, will definitely give it a go... The Wolverine is pretty good so far...

Haven't seen Red 2 yet (Clara loves the first one) but I will. I'm a bit of an origami geek, and there's some origami in it right? I know the guy who did that. #claimtofame

Gravity - 2D or 3D?
-
• #8238
3d imax if possible.
-
• #8239
^ 3D is a must.... Bigger screen as possible.

Gravity - worth seeing but a bit meh. Heavy handed dialogue and imagery. Does George Clooney have it written into every contract he has to do glib smart alec, every single time?
-

So Gravity was very stressful, I liked it bit know what your saying eightball. George plays the same character in every film and he's just rather annoying!
Apart from it being completely unbelievable at all, I really like it and on Imax 3D it was ace.

Watching The Purge right now. It could've been awesome but everyone in kept cooped up in one house. Boring.

Liked Red 2. Nice to see guy from The Good, The Bad & The Weird*. He's got a great bad guy face.
*Amazing film, everyone should see.

Considering you hate every film I don't think you do justice to how shit I found it. Some of the visual effects are quite hard to fathom but they still can't cover up how shit some of that dialogue was.
Shame.

I don't hate *every *film.
It was shit though. Could have been so much better

Watched Tyrannosaur. Not as bleak as I thought it would be (I'd rate Melancholia somewhat bleaker...though even that has a glimmer of hope) and very good. Eagerly awaiting next Van Trier movie. Must be a sucker for punishment it's not that you usually walk away feel great after seeing one...

Gravity, on a big screen in 3D.
Amazing. I could pick faults in the script, and there's one moment about two-thirds in which killed the tension dead, but an incredible ride, and basically hardcore porn for space hardware fetishists.
8/10 (film) / 11/10 (visuals and sound)

Love all of them, and the books. Hannibal Rising is absolute holocaust though.
