World War Z for me was a disappointing zombie film, nowhere near enough suspense, selling out for the pg-13 crowd is hugely disappointing and the 2nd half of the film is really forgettable
I've not read the books, so I've come at it fresh

This is The End - 7/10 - Pretty funny, some great cameos in it... RiRi falling into a fiery Beverly Hills chasm made me laugh and cry in equal measure...
The Hangover Pt. lll - 8/10 - Thought this was gonna be awful, I lol'd quite a bit all the way through... Zak is awesome in it and Leslie Chow is one of the greatest movie characters of all time...

Looper - 4/10 - trash - started quite well, had hopes of a dystopian future Clockwork Orange vibe - but then it turned into child actor speaks impossibly profound lines beyond their years
Don't get me started on the whole time paradox in this movie. I still thought it was quite watchable though.

Watched The Way Back, mistaking it for Way Way Back. Disappoint.

Just watching Paranormal Activity via the tellybox for the first time.
They wouldn't have stayed there.

Dude, it's like a demonic possession man, like it's in her. Dude. That's freaky, like it's not a regular ghost.
Weird dude.

Na... Just leave. Or sit on her til it goes away.

Watched Kotoko, interesting portrayal of mental health problems for the view of the character struggling with them. Preferred Vital over the more serious work of Shin'ya Tsukamoto. Go see it if the synopsis appeals to you.
Has anybody seen Upstream Color?

I put Skyfall on last night, to see if I could get over my James Bond film phobia - nope, 45 mins in I had to turn it off - utter garbage - and people pay to see this sorta shite?! Unbelievable. It was abysmal nonsense, it made me feel stupid in the head for it to invade my consciousness. I stand firm - James Bond films are fucking shit.

You don't like the bit were Judie Dench talks down to him like a boy?

The old ones are better. But you will always need a certain tolerance for unlikely events/the main char if not your cuppa... :)

Byzantium - A Neil Jordan Vampire film set in Hastings.
Not frightful but haunting and mixes past and present really well. Now my favourite Vampire film pushing off The Hunger

I saw Black Swan in the cinema. I enjoyed it a lot.
The direction is excellent throughout. The way scenes w/ Portman are often filmed almost looking over her shoulder really gave a sense of claustrophobia and madness to it. The score is also fantastic.
The second half is much stronger than the first but I would say 7.5 (maybe even 8) / 10

Nah, wank
I thought the first was a bit scare by numbers to be honest, if the 2nd is indeed better I might give it a go
Going to watch Martyrs at the weekend, I suspect I'll regret it
