  • Yes the person I was watching it with was trying to make sense of HM, and was adamant that there was going to be a big reveal at the end. I knew that wasn't going to happen and just enjoyed the ride...

    Anyone seen Frances Ha! ?

  • Best laughs per min rate for me regarding AP is probably Mid Morning Matters, even higher than the legendary IAP, just non-stop.

    Completely agree.

  • Yeah, so Kick-Ass 2 was rubbish. Such a shame considering the first one was incredible.

  • Well it has 2 in the title so what did you expect?
With video games 2 oftern means improved ( half life 2, street fighter 2, )
    Rarely in films

  • Interesting observation there, I was always looking forward to the next installment, but rarely with films.

  • Just watched The Castle. Really fun little film!

  • Just had my mate saying that 2 Gunz was terrible, then someone tried to compare Only God Forgives. To it!

Oh fuck off you film heathen!

  • Loved Alpha Papa. As a Patridgeophile I went in there with an open mind, I didn't want to be disappointed, but it was great, and like all his other work will only really come alive when it's out on DVD and I can watch it over and over and start driving Mrs G mad quoting it.

    Sums up my feelings exactly.

  • I went in expecting alpha papa to be complete shite having recently given up after 10 minutes into his partridge and less successful characters show on netflix.

was actually pretty funny. I'd say I found it about as amusing as something somewhere inbetween shaun of the dead and hot fuzz. the missus was laughing the loudest out of everyone in the cinema. but she's an AP fan.

  • Hot Fuzz was hog's piss

  • That said, does anyone want to buy a copy on DVD?

  • Hot Fuzz was hog's piss

educated me, hog's piss is bad I assumed?

  • On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being good and shaun of the dead being 4, hot fuzz was shit.

  • Perfect

  • "...not worthy of my collection... The Italian Job Staring Michael Caine and Noel Coward. This is the original which I have not actually seen. I have seen the remake though and it was really poor so the original can't have been that good either. It does have Michael Caine in it though and he is certainly very popular.
    3/10..."

    Surely you're kidding me?

Man bites dog, a Belgian absurdist mockumentary about a film crew following a serial killer.

Is on youtube in full. Recommend for those with a dark sense of comedy.

  • Affleck as Batman? Are the mad? Has the jaw for it though. But nothing else.

Best Batman film? Wrong I know, but the 1966 one still hilarious.

  • But he made such a good daredevil... Hahaha.

  • Just watched Top Gun for the first time. Volleyball scene is hilarious.

  • @JWestland

Great little movie. Watched it when it first came out and then again 2-3 years ago in Margate no less; one of them "one night only" sort of things. Wife didn't like it... left me shortly after ;)

  • "Just watched Top Gun for the first time. Volleyball scene is hilarious."

That statement is wrong, just wrong, at so many levels...

  • Surely you're kidding me?

    Don't go there.

  • But he made such a good daredevil... Hahaha.

Everyone tries to forget that film....especially Affleck.

Affleck was the bomb in 'Phantoms'
