Kermode and Mayo - that's a hellish combo
-

Yeah, I've only ever seen Mayo in these vids but he's pretty irritating. Kermode is someone I often strongly disagree with but he knows his shit and I've got time for that.

Kermode's like Brian Sewell - an annoying cunt who is unfortunately nearly always right.

Mark Kermode is a silly tit who makes all his reviews about himself. Brian Sewell's a proper critic. He's also actually got a sense of humour and he's not afraid to get his cock out. Therein lies the difference.

Kermode looks like he's got a Cuban heel delicately perched on his head.

I started watching Ted earlier. I got about half way through and turned it off, it's just not that funny.

^Yup. Has Kunis in it though.
Going to watch Win Win tonight, missed it when it came out as I was smashing out a dissertation

Saw Sightseers at The Ritzy the other night. It's a film full of odd British eccentricities, which I love.... oh, and the odd brutal murder.

Just seen CashBack, I like the concept of these films, like American Beauty where everyday banality vs beauty is the theme.
In general the film does a good job of avoiding being a cliche which I think is mainly down to it being British with the understated narration throughout.
May have just been me, but felt the end could have been a little less conventional or even predictable, also a suspicion that its portrayal is slightly misogynistic,
even if it does reflect reality. Defiantly worth a watch nonetheless.
(For a 15 these's a surprising amount of nudity).Full film:

Very much enjoyed this.

I saw it last night. My parents dragged me to some of the locations in the film when I was younger. I remember the pencil museum. I really like the film, it looks really nice and I loved the dark humour.

Just downloaded Beyond The Black Rainbow... Got mixed reviews, but looks intriguingly fucked up.

Saw Silver Linings Playbook last night. Brilliant film. Dunno if it's oscar worthy though. Extremely rare for me to ever audibly laugh in the cinema but this made me chuckle slightly.

Glad you did. There's some real funny moments too.
Am I depressed?
Sounds quite normal to me.

Especially as half the stuff in the supermarkets I've done, or done similar.

Kermode looks like he's got a Cuban heel delicately perched on his head.
I don't know what that means but I admit I used to have a crush on him.
(Argh - what was I thinking?!)

Not until the credits.
Not as annoying as Kermode
