Once you read all the bollocks that went on during filming about him refusing to be shown in direct light because of his weight gain and Dennis Hopper being so off his tits he actually hindered production you'll wonder how it actually ever got made.
Oh really? It's strange when you see behind the scenes footage of iconic films with well established actors, flittering between their well know character and themselves. Saw this recently and found it very weird (especially around 4.50)

Wankest film ever!

A doris in the office has been excited for the last few weeks as she's going to Australia next year, backpacking with a mate
I told her to watch Wolf Creek before she goes. She came in the other day shitting herself and is seriously considering not going

Yeah I walked out of that too! I can admire the art of it, but honestly as enjoyable as pulling a tooth

Haha brilliant. Can't believe people at that gullible. Did she not read the cover?
Independence Day is amazing for me as it's full circle. So bad it's good.

Just got back from seeing The Master. Thought it was excellent.
Joaquin Phoenix was mesmerising and Phillip Seymour Hoffman was very good. The soundtrack was also great.
I loved the pacing of the story as well but I can see why some people wouldn't.
9/10 for me.

Oof. Parallel universe to me........
Gotta be in my top ten of worst films

Do you have a list of your worst films? It would help us gauge if we're likely to react the same way to the Master.
E.g. My most over rated films:
Pan's Labyrinth
Gladiator
The Dark Knight
Star Wars
Dont Look Now

I watched Super last night and now I'm lying awake in bed, reluctant to go back to sleep thanks to some disturbing dreams.
So not the film I was expecting, the violence was extreme and throwaway at the same time in a way that would make Tarantino blush, and its moral compass was completely borked. That said, it was very good indeed.

^^ I know what you mean - for me the end was a bit of a shock.
