+1.
It'll be a long way off yet but kinda excited by the movie adaptation of Doctor Sleep too.I can't wait to see the US "long version" cut of The Shinning on the big screen.

Skyfall is decent, bit cheesy at times and a few too many nods to the old films but its worth watching.
This is what I really liked about Skyfall. The cheese factor has been lacking from Bond films lately in the want to be more like Bourne et al.
I agree about the effects though, that rooftop scene was pretty shoddy.

I see what you mean. Seems silly to suddenly start changing it after building Craig into a hard nut though
Pretty funny when some guys gun changes from one scene to the next right at the beginning

Javier Bardem: best thing about Skyfall.
Generally ok but like others have said, it was all a bit cheesy and mostly very obvious. But a fun caper nonetheless. Thought Wishaw would be better too having resaw him in Perfume especially the other day :( -

Also, how many times must the baddies with guns trying to kill a stationary un-armed Bond stand within Bond's patented turnaround-grab-swivel-turn-gun-against-baddies-move range?

A very glowing review of The Master from old Bradshaw. I cannot wait to see this film although sadly I can't see any showings where I live.

Any film that uses the "power of love" song in the trailer has got to be good.

It's out on 16 Nov with a couple of previews this week. Strange that the reviews have come out so early.
I can't wait either.

I am watch The Raid, on blu ray with the extended cut.
It's just as awesome 2nd time round (plus slightly longer)
Just booked my tickets today for that on a double bill with Room 237. Get to see it here too, which is a bonus.
