    LATFH etc

But the trailer still amused me.

  • Also the lead reminds me of a female Tobey Maguire at 01'16"

  • I saw The Inbetweeners Movie the other day... Utterly dreadful, and I quite liked the TV stuff.

Going to Malia this summer and haven't watched the film for that sole reason.
Gonna get my Stanley Kubrick box set this weekend and get to work on it

  • A bit "low brow" for you was it, Mr Precise?

  • Apperently they're going to remake that amazing sci fi film from the eighties can't remember name of it, gonna be awesome

  • If you haven't watched The Untouchable, than you really should.

    Space 1999?

  • Buck Rogers?

  • I was in Milton Keynes shopping centre, Boxing Day, about 15 years ago - a voice came over the PA system "Would the parents of Buck Rogers, please make your way to the shopping information unit, we have your child"

Class prank by some little shit!

  • is anyone going to the London Sundance festival at the 02?

  • that vacuous cretin Robert Pattinson.
    take that back!

  • Who decides to screen them? The people who exploit money from pre-pubescent girls who have to see that vacuous cretin Robert Pattinson.
    Clearly jealous.

  • Just watched Rosemary's Baby for the first time, without actually knowing too much about it. Whatever you think about the disgusting child rapist that directed it, it's a very good film.

    How's the book?

  • A bit "low brow" for you was it, Mr Precise?

No, not at all. I like low brow. I just thought it was really unimaginative and nothing like as funny as the best of the TV ones. Disappointing really.

  • take that back!

Never, he's as deep as a car park puddle.

    Clearly jealous.

Balls. I'm infinitely more attractive than him.

And that's why there are no more planned. Like Fawlty Towers, they knew when to stop.

  • He looks like a lobotomised Elvis

  • Attack the Block - 6/10

  • Watched The Troll Hunter this afternoon - immensely enjoyable, very funny - exceeded my expectations - location scenery is beautiful also

It is fun, I liked it.

  • I watched Gimme Shelter (1971) last night. It's a documentary made with footage from the Altamont Free Concert.

It's much better than Shine a Light (2008 and made by Martin Scorsese) which was like an X Factor performance directed by your dad IMO.

  • Watched Space Odyssey last night and I've got mixed feelings although I generally feel that it was because I hadn't read the book as maybe then I would have understood the ending. Overall thought it was a brilliant film it was cold and dark like I've found with a lot of Kubrick's work like Full Metal Jacket and Hal was amazing.
No doubt there are some of you on here that think its blasphemous I would slag off this film

You're entitled to your opinions, but what is this book of which you speak ? 2001 is based on a short story b Clarke called The Sentinel and that finishes at the point where they uncover the monolith on the moon. There is a later book, but is based totally on the screenplay anyway.

  • Kubrik season local Picturehouse, have Dr Strangelove tonight, never seen it all the way through

  • Sellers is fantastic.

  • ...maybe then I would have understood the ending.

^ It's not really that kind of film.

    :D
