  • £4.99 films at peckhamplex. I'm going to have date night with myself on a weekly basis.

  • Haven't had a chance to see mi4 in the cinema and had planned to go to the last showing tonight after work but cineworld have pulled it!

Need to wait for the dvd now...

Don't sweat it - you really didn't miss much.

I used to go almost daily when i lived south. £3.99 student tickets!

  • "So Arnie tell me, how many dicks do you have?"

  • Their conversations was

    • "AAARreeeouuuuuuuuuuaaaah."
    • "Uh Uhhhhhha Uhhhhhhh!" (points at shoulder)
  • ^^So they have legalised cloning or some procedure both Arnie and Sly have decided to have done?

  • they both get their shoulders fixed

  • Just watched 50/50.
    Superb.

I really liked 50/50 too. Saw 'The Thing' prequel, actually was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Mary Elizabeth Winstead as a scientist was still pretty hot.

Continuing on an Arnie theme -the other night I watched 'Total Recall', had forgotten how good it was. Wondering how the re-make is going to be later on this year.

Still haven't managed to go see 'Man on a Ledge' yet, probably this weekend.

  • they both get their shoulders fixed

I hadn't realised they were broken - for either or them.

  • I used to quite like the idea of having kids, then i watched 'We need to talk about Kevin'.

  • Is 'The big blue' any good?

  • It's OK. If you're watching it because you like luc besson films, you might find his 80's films very different..

  • Re-watching Thank You for Smoking (2005). I like its dark humour.

  • I think the only Besson films I've seen are Taxi (1,2,3&4) and I enjoyed those.

  • You haven't seen Leon or the fith element? Watch them before the big blue. I think Subway's OK for the curious. Nikita's pretty good.

  • Ah. Heard of, never seen. I'll hold off until I've seen those

  • Leon is awesome. Think it was Natalie Portmans first film too, and the Fifth element Is pretty good too!

  • I went through a phase of being obsessed by Subway (mainly for Isabel Adjani). I knew it off by heart.

I was so disappointed by The Big Blue though. I had the soundtrack before I saw the film, and it didn't live up the coolness of Eric Serra's bass playing.

On a different note. Casablanca is on at the BFI tomorrow. I'm planning on escaping to B&W world.

  • just got back from seeing a monster in paris with my daughter really enjoyed it

  • Watched Magic Trip the Ken Kesey documentary/lost archive footage road trip film last night. If you know the story documented in Tom Woolfe's classic 'The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test' you'll need to see this film - key parts of the book are there in film and audio, word for word. It's an incredible account of the birth of the sixties counter culture movement, way before anyone caught on to what these guys were doing with LSD experimentation.

  • Watched Bellflower last night. Pretty tidy.

  • does anyone know from what film is this pic, please?

  • Transporter 2. Awful film
