Contagion
Really compelling, gripping high-budget b-movie. Some goood goood performances, can't really critique it without giving too much away.
8/10

Watched the Avengers trailer last night. Looking forward to it because I'm a massive geek. Plus all these recent marvel films seem to be particlary well cast.

Mega Piranha Trailer (Official) - YouTube
Laughed my way through the first half. The motion sickness kicked in at about the 45 minute mark. Not a single static shot in the whole film. 90% of cuts sped up/slowed down into and out of the cut. So badly colour graded that people's hair turned green etc. By the end I was left feeling nauseous, pissed off and worn out.

Has anyone seen "We need to talk about Kevin" yet? Last few films I've seen at the cinema have been fairly dark and this one is supposed to be too I think!

Yes, it's pretty dark. Despite being co-opted into going to see it I quite enjoyed it - excellent cinematography, use of colour and symbolism blah blah, Tilda Swinton is very good too (although John C Reilly as her husband didn't work for me).

Cool, I really like Tilda Swinton, I've never really rated John C Reilly.

ok, I been trying to remember the name of a film for the last week or so, since I saw the Driver.
It is a italia film, about a mafia bookkeeper who lives is a hotel and that has a BMW cover with a sheet in a huge subterranean car park, I don't remember much of the plot, I know that there is a girl and some killers try to kill him.
It is fairly modern, less than 8 year, I would sayring any bell to anyone???
