On a recent but 90's feeling vibe i enjoyed Wrath of Man for what it was. Fell apart towards the end but it looked the part

Cure, the Japanese movie proper scary.
If you want some ghost stuff from the same director Pulse. Not as coherent a movie bit some proper tense scenes.Tale of two sisters for more traditional fare :)
And of course the Japanese ring Trilogy.
Antichrist has a supernatural elements but it's a pretty downer watch...
A girl walks alone at night, Bram Stoker's Dracula, interview with the Vampire for bitey horror and of course "what we do in the shadows" for comedy horror.
Obsession/videodrome for your more art house horror and shivers is a great gory early cronenberg.
Cabin in the woods for post modern scary stuff.
I need to watch more new movies all these are pretty...old.

I am about to commence a Halloween rewatch
1978, 2018 and Halloween Kills before going to see Halloween Ends at the pictures. -

Some good ones in there! Have seen most of those but will add Obsession and Cure to my watchlist.

I watched Scream (2022) over the weekend.
Sack of wet shite.
Very knowing and winking to the camera (which they all do) but not in an endearing way.
Made me want to watch OG Scream again -

@Manc_Ronnie @J0nathan seen both but thanks, surprised Tell no one hasn't had a Hollywood remake

Old news, but Spawn remake is still on the cards. Jamie Foxx still onboard to play Al Simmonds / Spawn.
Loads of new writers attached, Scott Silver (Joker), Malcolm Spellman (Some marvel shit)Deserves a good film.

Absolute +1 to Inside Man, great cast and stands up to repeated viewing really well (in some ways gets better as you can relax into all the incidental detail)

Sicario hasn’t been mentioned, first one is top drawer (very atmospheric, Emily Blunt is great and really menacing score) and second one also good (didn’t have high hopes, very pleasantly surprised).
For a sub Heat vibe, Den of Thieves is ok if you can overlook Gerard Butler (who to be fair is ok)

Kids is a tough watch, really bleak

Second watch of everything everywhere all at once tonight.
Obviously never going to be as impactful as the first watch but still massively enjoyable.
Staying with 9/10 verdict. Highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.

Society is great! Watched it whilst very high a few years back; a real treat.

Bodies Bodies Bodies - I enjoyed it a fair bit. A24 did a very 2022 Agatha Christie murder mystery.
-
• #19347
Nope - absolutely fine. It was at least 20 minutes too long with some promising, tense parts but it didn't really deliver. It was all a bit too slick and blockbuster-y for my taste.

Just watching it now, should be called cunts cunts cunts

Oh yeah, not a likeable character in the bunch.

It’s been said, but everything everywhere all at once is a banger. Finally got round to watching it last night. Wish I’d caught it at the cinema, imagine the visual spectacle would have been incredible.
Cheers, done the first two, will check out Ghost writer.
No issues with Forrin, big fan of Luis Tosar stuff amongst others
