Snyder had one half decent film 17 years ago and has been dining out on it ever since

Just had a peep at his IMDB page, and I found 2.5 films of his I liked:
His Dawn of the Dead remake (I remember liking), 300 was alright (at best, this is the .5) and I do like Watchmen (although I've not seen it in ~5 years) -

Welcome to Me is a good watch. Not the normal Amazon Prime film by numbers dross.

Thanks i'll check that out. Less than 90 minute run time gives me time to flick to the horror channel after.

As many as that?
I was 20 when 300 came out and I though then, that if I was 5 years younger, I probably would have loved it. It's for spotty teenagers who think it's edgy and like the fact it has tits in it.
Everything else he's done is trash.
I wanted to like Watchmen but it's almost incomprehensible in places.

it's incredible.
ordinarily dynastic filmakers should be treated with a huge amount of suspicion - but cronenberg jnr knocks it out the fucking park.

Day of the dead is excellent, shame there wasn't a sequel. Everything else is shit. 300 was good at the time but has aged so badly.

I was 16 when 300 came out and can confirm that I thought it was excellent at the time. Upon rewatching a couple of years ago, I was not as impressed. Maybe I've just becoming desensitised to stabbing and boobs and stuff though.

Agreed. He makes bangers.

Tonight's entertainment is The Fast & The Furious, it was a mild guilty pleasure back in the day.
Now I just want to watch Point Break -
• #17567
Not the guvnors.
That would be a waste of time -

Personally A Quamon is about the only DC film I've enjoyed without reservation. Leave your brain at the door three tubs of popcorn fuck me how did they train a Manta Ray to do that? sort of film true, but most everything else DC has squeezed out just gives me the shits.

I managed to see it on the big screen for its 30th anniversary, so good.
Much testosterone, such macho.
