Also really enjoyed it.
Had to try hard to hold a tear or two at some scenes.
Will rewatch soon.

Just done Edge of Tomorrow. Wow, all the scenes are spectacular, nothing deep or meaningful but so well done, the fight scenes, the monsters, the machinery.
I don't know how I missed it when it came out, would be superb on big screen. Tom Cruise was also very good!
edited to correct name. doh
Without a spoiler, they handled that very well. -

I was full on bawling, ha ha. I'm really not a film crier normally either. I think because it wasn't at all formulaic and was actually believable.

Color Out of Space – Lovecraft and Nicholas Cage but boring! it takes way too long to actually get to The Good Stuff and The Good Stuff is only about 5 minutes.
The Dig – Good Cinema. Apart from the soon impending world war it does surprisingly well with essentially no conflict. -

News of the World. on Netflix, Tom Hanks Western. Has a Jimmy Stewart feel it’s light but nice. Greengrass does good cowboys

Took more than $500m over Chinese NY, and largest opening weekend for a single market ever, even more impressive given Chinese cinema is operating at 50% - 75% capacity due to physical distancing.

And Hi Mom looks like it might do better still.
Cinema isn’t dead just yet...

Watched Life in a Day last night, I can't remember last time I watched something as humbling and uplifting as that.
Also saw The Intern with De Niro on Amazon a few days back, nice little comedy with a few deeper meanings hidden here and there

Watched “Judas and the Black Messiah” today. Daniel Kaluuya is fantastic. A shame the film focuses more on the informant than on Fred Hampton.

Fuck me Threads was grim and it’s too late for a cheerer-upper. I’ll have a look at that tomorrow, thanks. :)
Babyteeth actually really stuck with me, one of the best things I've seen in ages. Highly recommended. Way ahead of you on the stick and pokes and stupid haircuts.
