Better than Tangerine which I also remember enjoying.

The Last Movie Star - sad, tragic, humorous, oddball

Ghost Stories - thought it showed early promise - best section was Paul Whitehouse night watchman, significant chills/eerie/suspense - thereafter it went a bit shit and ending was just dumb as fuck 6/10

Whitehouse is in the old codger Hatton Garden film with 3 sirs.

i saw a poster for that on the side of a bus. seems the time required to elapse before you can romanticise a shower of awful cunts who did a pretty horrible thing to innocent people is getting shorter and shorter. gammons will love it.

Finally managed to get my hands on a copy of Vampire's Kiss, highly recommend it, Nic Cage at his ludicrous best in one of the most inadvertently funny films I've ever seen.

exactly my thoughts on it Paul Whitehouse always puts in a good performance and that is the best individual tale. ending was just shit.

A Simple Favour
It's not sure if it's a thriller or a black comedy, and falls short of either.
It was ok, but not necessarily worth rushing out to see.

The Children Act
Decent British independent movie. I came out of it slightly confused from the 2 divergent story lines (the "affair" and the "love story" between the boy and the Judge). A solid 7/10.

Mile 22 tonight. I've liked Peter Berg (directing) films so far but trailers make it look very formulaic. Am I about to waste two hours of my life? Seems to be happening a lot these days
