I thought Hateful 8 was rancid self-indulgent dogshit. Waste of 3 hours. Won't be watching Tarantino again unless he's only the writer and is properly directed and edited.

I foolishly went to see Zoolander 2 last night. Truly awful. There are a couple of amazing cameos which rescue it from being 100% abysmal, but did anyone read the script before it was greenlit?

Deadpool on Thursday should help.

Deadpool was good but not violent enough, I was expecting tonnes after reading reviews, most of the good bits were in the trailer. It suffered a bit from the first of a marvel franchise syndrome, where everything is back story and character introduction, still a lot of fun though.

i eagerly await the next marvel fillum which will be a porno if their current trajectory is to be believed.

I quite enjoyed Youth. If you're a fan of The Magic Mountain it's definitely worth a watch.

I enjoyed it. I've not been a fan of his recent work but I genuinely thought it was a good film. 70mm ultrawide was nice too.

Some really good laughs in it. Would enjoy again.

Deadpool isn't actually a Marvel film. A few years back when they had money problems they sold movie rights for a load of their characters (hence a load of random Spider-man films done by Sony and the X-Men films, etc). 20th Century Fox did Deadpool

Now they have Disney's backing they're gradually bringing the characters back in when the rights expire.
