Watching Spectre right now. Wow it's bad.

But you knew what it was going to be like. That same feeling as watching England play football.

Dog Day Afternoon is one of my favorite films.

And I had no idea how bad spectre was going to be. It was the worst film I've seen in a long time.

You didn't with on it did you? Cause if so, I fucking loved it!

Watched the remake of Martyrs, not as good/savage as the original, but still worth a watch.

off to see the Revenant, have told the other half it's a bit like Paddington

Hateful eight was awesome. Tim Roth on top form. The snow naked walk scene was savage. 9/10 would watch again.

Watched Legend, amazing work by Tom Hardy playing Reggie Kray and Peter O'Hanra'hahanrahan.

Just finished watching The Lobster. Well bizarre.
A very British dystopian dark comedy written & directed by Greeks. It's going to stay with me for a while.

Hotel Manager: Now have you thought of what animal you'd like to be if you end up alone?

Hotel Manager: Why a lobster?
David: Because lobsters live for over one hundred years, are blue-blooded like aristocrats, and stay fertile all their lives. I also like the sea very much.

Anomalisa was odd, and a bit uncomfortable at times. No Being John Malkovich, but worth a watch.

Mr Nobody - Bit too much farting about in parts (for me) but a big vision / good cinematography / music make it worth a watch.

Looking forward to seeing A Bigger Splash.
Tilda Swinton is always amazing.

I just watched Bridge of Spies.

I was surprised it was a true story, because there were so many parts that made very little sense historically. I just thought that the Gary Powers stuff had been woven in to a story about how great America was at defending its freedom, liberty, constitution, etc.

Reasonably entertaining schmaltz, surprised at all the 5/7 reviews it's been getting.

Just watched the big short wasn't what I expected but enjoyed it, could have done without some of the daft gimmick bits. Worth a watch though.

Kurt Russell's method acting on point

Trumbo's average - Cranston is good, but overall wasn't that engaged.
Bridge of Spies was very disappointing and the shit score made it worse. Didn't look like a Spielberg.
Really enjoyed both Revenant and Big Short.
Room was fucking amazing - the standout film I've seen since Boyhood.

Have Hateful 8 and Spotlight for this week's enjoyment. And must get round to that Idris Elba one - Beasts something.

Revenant, I am in a minority that did not care for that film.
Loved the cinematography, but not the story.
I was rooting for the bear.

Nah - just got the straight DVD which has had to go back to the office. None of them seem to be doing downloads this year.

Watched Jean-Pierre Gorin's 'Californian trilogy' back to back on Saturday.
