  • Fuck you spoilt it.

cute, i like it, sad ending...

  • Just watched A Most Wanted Man, really liked it... Didn't realise it was taken from a Le Carre book... Nicely made little movie... No aliens or zombies, a pleasant change...

  • I can't recommend the original BBC "tinker tailor soldier spy" series enough if you're into that Le Carre's books/movies.

A murky moral areas, a true antihero, feels more "real" than the remake (which did have great visuals)

  • Film version of TTSP is good. The TV versions of Smiley's People and A Perfect Spy are also excellent.

  • The remake was almost an homage, especially Oldman's mannered way of speaking. The original is one of the best things the beeb ever did, other adaptations were patchy, Little drummer Girl had Diane Keaton miscast, The Constant Gardener was brilliant, so was The Spy..one of the best films Richard Burton appeared in.

  • The Tailor of Panama is excellent too, Geoffrey Rush is brilliant, and the casting of Pierce Brosnan as a spy who thinks he's James Bond is inspired.

  • Very keen to go see The Babadook. I live in hope someone can make a good thrilling/scary movie.

  • That's right, Isn't his dad's ghost Harold Pinter? They should film The Honourable Schoolboy next.

  • I felt it should have ended when he was sitting on the chair with the cat, that would have left you thinking a lot more imo on what actually happened after that.

  • Very keen to go see The Babadook. I live in hope someone can make a good thrilling/scary movie.

Ditto. Also Insidious 3 coming out next year looks good, I liked the first two.

  • Rewatched the life aquatic, as my SO hadn't seen it before. Still as good as when it first came out. Which was a fucking decade ago. I suddenly feel old.

  • Why the fuck are trailers ~3 minutes long nowadays? Lack of confidence?
When I want to see every significant part in the fucking film, I'll see the whole thing.

  • Saw Fury last night. Pretty good, but the best thing about it was the location, a farm near Watlington where my sister-in-law and her family used to live. I think the folk next to us in the cinema were baffled when we laughed at the sight of German prisoners lined up against the wall in the farmyard, and the final showdown at the crossroads was slap bang in the middle of their drive.

  • Northern Soul - pretty solid attempt to capture the times - she did manage to get the look of the 70's, clothes and cars and general shitness of it all spot on

  • Just watched John Dies at the End again, brilliant... I must get the last book...

  • Yup, that's ^^ on my to-watch list...

  • black fucking panther.

  • 70s one? Thats a class film. Killer BFI trailer too

  • um... i was referring to this guy...

  • Birdman looks interesting

also want to see '71 - David Holmes soundtrack

and of course, Interstellar (which will undoubtedly be hugely disappointing)
