  • I'm usually a 44. Sidi 45 is a pretty snug fit.

  • Or one Euro size up plus the mega width option :/

  • Woo-hoo, that's me sorted then :-)

  • Well, the sale's over. Just going to send them back and get a size up. Refunding with vouchers was going to be a faff. Going to pretend the sale was never on. Tra-la-la.

Can't seem to see Eagles in mega size though, so may have to get Dominators and pay a few quid extra.

Shoes are in perfect condition. Tried on in house only, no cleats and no riding.

  • My wiggle dominators arrived yesterday - look a bit bling, but very comfortable and I am sure I cycled faster in them (due to feeling self conscious).

  • mine arrived yesterday too, so they got their madien voyage this morning and i'm really pleased with them. my toes were still bloody cold by the time I got here. agree with commie that they do look a bit bling straight out of the box, but it won't take long for the sheen to wear off.

out of interest does anyone use a sidi washer between the sole of the shoe and cleat? I was flicking through the little book that came with them this morning and saw they are 'recommended', I assume that is just becasue they are sold seperately and will proabably cost a tenner or more. anyway, anyone use and or recommend or know of the advantages?

  • I wouldn't put anything between the show and the cleat, it will make the cleat protrude more and scrape on the ground.

  • Just had the refund come through - minus the £15 discount. So now I have a £130 voucher and no shoes. I have gone from getting a bargain to missing all the bargains. Gah.

Don't really want to put extra cash in - any advice on shoes for £130 from Wiggle?

  • Dominator 45 Megas on the way. If they don't fit I'm going to chop my toes off.

  • If you find them a bit short when walking, try riding in them. My 46s feel slightly small when walking but on the bike they are wonderful.

  • The length was fine, but the buckles were fully extended when I did them up. It's cost me £25-30 to get them changed, so they'd better be right.

  • Oh ok, they should be right. If they aren't then it sounds like you don't have a "Sidi foot".

  • These aren't going back. Feet will have to like them or lump them, as we say in Norfolk.

  • Good luck, Sparky's feet.

  • damnit..
    missed the earlier sales.

anyone know the cheapest place to get dominators please?

  • won't be long before january sales

  • Good thinking Dylan, should have a butcher to see how cheap they'll be.

  • Sweet dylan.
didnt think of that.. just was having one of those wanna buy shit on the internet days.

  • ha yes, i know exactly what you mean

  • And they're here - and they fit - and all is well with the world - and I'm working 8 days in a row - and after that I have 5 days off - and I shall be putting them to good use, along with my new shoes.

    Hooray.

  • Good to hear it, Sparks.

  • If you had made the decision to wax a bundle of wong on a road shoe (non custom) which one would you buy?

I went for the Mavic Xzellium ultimate - link - but now can't help thinking I should have gone for an Ergo 2 or Genius 6.6

    What do you all think?

  • I'd buy the ones that fit the nicest for the lowest cost that were in grey or black. Genius 5.5 I believe they were.

  • Fit is not an issue, both the Mavic and Sidi are like gloves for my tootsies.

    It's just a bling question I suppose.
