Yeah I'm pretty impressed so far. Easy to order. Ordered at the weekend so only got processed and shipped yesterday but it's already out for delivery today. Didn't pay for the 1 day delivery either...

I use sidi cafe for replacement parts like straps and buckles, not had a problem yet, service is pretty standard
Brixton cycles have often had the replacement bits I need for Sidi. FYI.

Would anyone be interested in a pair of Ergo 2 size 46 - I think I could really do with a 45.5

Brixton Cycles have has some bits for me in the past, as have Cadence in Crystal Palace.

After Pete4Eyes good experience, I've decided to bite the bullet and ordered a set of Dragon 2's. Probably the only time in my life where I've felt fortunate for being a size 12.

Small update: Despite paying an extra fiver for Express delivery (which probably would've meant I would have my Sidi's now), they sent it out promptly but with the wrong delivery type. Sent them an e-mail saying what the fuck so we'll see what response I get.

Sidi Dominators in 48 fit me perfectly, only a tiny bit of hotspotting even after a 218km ride. Can I assume that the road shoes (i.e. genius) size up similarly?
-
• #1084
I have exactly the same size in mtb and road.

• #1085
might try some on to be safe, but that's good to know, cheers

I tried some MTB Sidis on in a 44 and they for perfect. Ordered road shoes online in a 44 and were too narrow...
Not sure if that's because the MTB shoes were broken in (a friends shoes). But I have read that Sidis don't stretch? -

This; except I sold MTB shoes; 43 mega in both. Get genius 6.6 really good shoes. And speedplays

Probably worth trying an insoles with a bigger arch, usually the most common cause of hotspot (and the easiest to rule out).

Any to reccomend?
-
• #1090
Specialized one is the easiest one to get, most shop sell them.
To be fair, it needn't be a cycling one, as there's a lots of insoles in different arch height, usually need to be cut to fit in certain shoes.

The Specialized ones didn't get on with my feet - they did the whole heat-activated foot-pad thing and it was completely wrong.
-
• #1092
To be honest the Shimano footbeds are not shabby at all. They seems to have that slightly higher arch which helps my foot pretty well.
-
• #1093
Get arch support if you really need it; I didnt
-
• #1094
I've got some Superfeet insoles in now, and they're very nice. Hard to recommend though, because I literally have no idea what they do or what effect they might have.
-
• #1095
From scheritt? I have them too but they are just neutral insoles with same arch support as the Sidi ones. He said bio-mechanically I didnt need a higher arch support; they are just nicer .. I think they are £30

SIDI insoles aren't the best in my experience.
-
• #1097
Yeah, Scherrit gave them to me.
They do a memory-foam-version as well which I'm tempted to take a punt on for my next set of shoes.

Shoes came yesterday and Sidi's are king. EU 48 fit perfectly for my 12 UK foot, not too narrow or short as I feared they may be. On another note though, after the blunder of sending out my Sidi's with a Standard instead of Express delivery, Sidi Cafe is yet to reply to my e-mail (has been 3 days now). While they clearly can't differentiate between delivery types, the goods came and that's all I really care about.

anyone know which model these are?

They are Techno II's I think.
