Evans sell them - wouldn't some of their stores have some stock? Phone around.
-
• #1053
Evans dont stock any sidis in store, only on the site...
-
• #1054
Ah, ok. What about Cycle Surgery?
-
• #1055
Nope, they only have Mavic and Spesh IIRC
-
• #1056
Condor no longer stock them either. Its pretty bare with Sidis. Apparently they are a nightmare to deal with and hardly have any stock.
Thats what the guy at condor said.

^^^^^ Hippy - they do indeed - according to their website all sizes are "In stock at warehouse. Collect in 1-2 days" for all the stores in the UK - unless I want to go to their warehouse in Gatwick (which I don't). The problem is I'm not going to order some in, travel by donkey to London and then find they aren't the right size [rinse and repeat]

Why not order a few sizes from Wiggle and then use the easy return system to send them back? You don't have to leave your house save for the postal or Collect+/dropbox type return.
-
• #1059
What size are you?
As a general rule with sidi, I would size up 1. Im a 43 and had to go for 44. I may have fit into a 43.5 albeit a little tightly but Sigma dont stock half sizes.

I dunno, I went from 47 Mega to 47 Shimano and they seem ok. Might go for Wide option in Shimano if my custom shoe builder doesn't hurry the fuck up and get back to me.

Fitzrovia Bicycles always hold stock. I tried on for size then ordered through them.
-
• #1062
Just order a bunch of sizes and send them back. You could even order to your local evans and refund at the till.
-
• #1063
I'm just waiting to find out how much they are from Fitzrovia and then I'll either (if price is sensible) go up at the weekend or if, as the Fitzrovia person hinted today, they are £190, order a spread of sizes from Wiggle as suggested here.
-
• #1064
OK Fitzrovia price confirmed, cannot justify. Going to go the E***s route. Will need a long shower afterwards, wish me luck!

Check eBay, Gumtree, and the Classifieds section here, too.
If you buy second-hand for a good price, you can always sell them on if they don't fit, and not lose anything. I got my Dominators from eBay a few years ago, for about £40 I think, well-used but still functional, and they're still fine. Just put new inner soles in and they're good to go (Superfeet yellows have been good for me).

Weeeeeeeell technically it's a birthday present, from my wife. My wife who hates dirt and wearing other people's shoes. Sooooooo.....

.... so basically all my principles go out the window.
-
• #1068
Get them from Fitzrovia; ask nicely for a discount and you might get it
-
• #1069
I'm up the Smoke on Saturday, might just give that a go.

^ They may do a price match?
On another note, do a lot of people go for the Genius 5 or do they spend a bit more and get the 6.6 or one of the others?
I've read some reviews that say the sole on the G5 isn't that stiff?
Any advice would be awesome. Thanks! -

Anyone tried purchasing from Sidi Cafe?
-
• #1072
After the above post ^^ I ordered from sidicafe yesterday.
After it being posted on this thread a fair few times I assumed other people had used it.Scored some sidi five eleven shoes.
Can let you know in 2-3 days... -
• #1073
Please do, they have Dragon 2's in my size and I simply cannot see the upgrade in Dragon 3.
-
• #1074
Fitzrovia didn't have my size in stock and couldn't price match, so I've gone the E***s route.
I feel so dirty.

@ blnk
Just received a 'shipped' email. Tracking number doesn't work yet though.
Probably hasn't been scanned yet...
I rang Sigma today, and although they carry Sidi shoes they don't stock Dominators. Neither will they get them in for you.
So to recap my previous question, is there anywhere in that London that stocks the damned things? Seems weird that such an apparently amazing shoe doesn't have anyone willling to carry it.
