i've got a bontrager race saddle, and i think it looks nice, and is really comfortable too - even in jeans. they have a "comfort guarantee" too, so if you don't like it you can send it back.

Since fitting the SLR (and loving it) I have a Bontrager saddle sitting around..

i like this one, titanium rails, bg gimmic thing which includes a hole in it so the stiching of your jeans will hang in there as you cycle

"Minimalist competition road" doesn't equal "wearing jeans on my way down the shops"
These saddles have got good reviews from a couple of the roadies I know. The slot is designed to take pressure away from your perineum(sp?) so you don't get a limp d1ck that night.. -

Fizik Arione here.
But any saddle gets (a lot) more confortable when using good padded shorts when cycling...

Not the lycra thread again.. NOOO!! ;-)
Got a spare Arione Roberto? Still want to test one of them..

I asked my little brother about saddles when i was choosing one, he's raced for years (time trials etc) and said he's been riding the same Selle italia flite titanium for years and nothing beats it. I couldn't afford one though... Condor still have a bunch of Selle italia filante saddles in a "bargain" (i.e. £30) bin, I got one of those and it's pretty comfy.

always liked the flite, used one for 20 years, well not the same one, waiting for another at the mo.

Flite's rock but I reckon the 135g SLR is my new fave.
i war cheap mondays or endura 3/4 baggys and neither of them rub the first coz they're skin tight and the second coz they were made for cycling, you probably wear yourtrousers quite low therefore they muve a lot on the saddle therefore they consume
