ninjor bike thief?
Could have been a neighbour who saw you put it away, or someone at the party who passed on the info to his scally mate?
Up in cumbria last few years there has been a couple driving around in various cars (some were found out to be rentals) deliberately knocking riders off on quieter back roads, then offering to take them to hospital, whoops, no space in the car for bike, lets put it behind 'this' hedge, take rider to hospital, then go and take the bike. Happened probably 10 times (that I've heard of) in 3-4years now, description is always the same couple.

What? Crazy that people would do that - risking someone's life for a bike.
Rowhan - will keep my eyes out.

Will keep an eye out at Wimbledon Evans, don't forget to inform local bicycle shop to let them know of a stolen bicycle.

Boooo! My bike is stolen :( Was up in Manchester for the day and off its gone.
Was locked up in the Didsbury (Outside the library about 2:45 Saturday) area for about 10 mins while I nipped into a shop.
I just completed Lands End to John o Groats on it so it has a special place for me. (Blog)Specialized Tricross - Black - 54cm
Frame has black reflective tape all over it, including over the word Tricross
Black Brooks saddle - Has a scuff on the top near the nose (from changing tyres and forgetting to cover it)
Black mudguards and silver pannier rack (Which has 4 black spokes taped to the underneath)
Has a pair of slightly rattly flat pedals on and the middle gears (rear cassette) are skipping.
Wheels are shod with Schlam Marathon's (25mm (might be 28) pro at the back, 23mm (might be 25) standard on the front)
Also has a cheap wired Trek speedo attached, or did!http://roblejog.robmillington.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/20110325-093256.jpg

Thanks

No luck finding better images, but I've mocked up the Condor graphic which appears about 5cm long on the tt in flame red, and black-on-black on the forks and downtube (larger on the dt, 20cm). Thanks for reading.
nb, just to say again, this bike is not the stolen one, just very similar, see the previous page for correct details -

Chopsicle I'm not in the city much these days but will keep an eye out on the web for it. I was shocked when I read on FB who your friend was that was mugged for it! Small world. He's not had much luck with bikes getting stolen recently.

Cheers Ed - yeah, first thing I did yesterday morning was go in to Evans Kingston and talked at length with someone in there about it. He says if someone ever comes in with a really suspicious bike to change parts, they'll try to hold on to it in the workshop for 24hrs to investigate with police.
Coming in to your shop this arvo to pick up my new Fuji Team 1.0.. same better not happen to this one... fingers crossed

I wish... My Fuji will be though.
Wouldnt have counted for shit anyway - lock on the shed (in hind-sight) was wank. Fact of the matter is in this case is something doesnt sit right. How the hell they knew it was in the shed in the first place. It was put in there out of sight, in the dark at 9.30pm at the end of a very quiet road.
Someone must have seen me pull up. My mate's going to be keeping an eye out though - pretty sure the thief is VERY local. Ill hospitalise the little c*** if he's found

It has been quite busy, there's such thing as selling too many bicycles in one day.
Hope everything's alright, Richard the bloke you've talked to is sound.

Hi everyone. I had my seatpost and saddle pinched from outside the Wellington on Balls Pond Rd on Friday night. Between 10:30 and 11pm. It was an almost new brown Brooks B17 narrow on a Campagnolo aero silver post 26.8. There are some scratches on the back of the seatpost where it fell inside my frame once.
Slim chance I know, but if anyone sees this for sale please contact me.
Thanks.
James.
