hey guys.
as you'd imagine for this area, my bike was jacked.
if anyone sees this bike, please please let me know!!!
it'll be much appreciated if you could grab it, or call me (07921562796), or kill the fucker.
it's a graphite black bob jackson, black head tube and three black bands on the seat tube. nitto lugged seat post with selle regal saddle. dura ace headset, nitto pearl stem, risers with black ourys, campag vento front wheel, h+son back wheel laced to a dura ace hub, sugino 75 black crank set.
stolen from by the macbeth just now. it's insured, but bummer you know. the thing is covered in pitlocks, so it'll be a fucker to split.
many many thanks. sorry to trouble you all.

How was it locked?
I've said it before i'l say it again...
When you report your bike stolen on here please provide full details, ie which lock was used, exact location and estimate of time it was stolen.
Thanks -

Just found the answer on another thread, he used an abus steel o flex. The lock should not be used as a primary lock.

It was not even the correct size for him!
I walked away from listening in to the sale then walked away...
10 minuets later he was riding down the street to get away!
But as ed said the more people buy the more gets robbed. -

i just don't think a cable lock can ever be as effective a fag mini d lock for example.

that one. officially sworn off cable locks.
it'll the fag mini d next time.

furry muff. As it goes i only use the granite as a secondary when heading into town, and know im going to be leaving the bike for an extended period of time, if im just popping to the shops ill just use the Evo miniD.

I have the same set-up, I now its not as sturdy as using a fag mini d but it is easy to carry (doesnt feel like I'm carry a child around with me) and my bike probably isnt worth the bother of breaking 2 locks.

With all this talk of the fag mini, has anyone had a bike stolen that's been locked with one? or with a Kryptonite New York 3000 lock? My mates' bike parked next to mine got pinched this morning but looking at my NY 3000 / Abus Granit Steel o flex combo they haven't touched mine. I'm paranoid now that the thieves have just gone home to fetch the angle grinder...

^there have not been any reports on here of a bike being stolen when locked correctly with a fahgettaboudit mini. obviously not impossible, but when there is probably another fixie-skidder bike locked nearby with an evo mini, what would be the point of trying it on?

This is such a weird thread. It's heartbreaking seeing all the bikes that have been stolen but for some odd reason I keep revisiting this thread whenever it pops up. I don't even live in London FFS.

my friend had his bike stolen yesterday (not fixed or ss) but thought I could at least try and get the word out as it is quite unique. If anyone sees it or sees it being sold please get in contact. It was stolen from around old st area.
custom condor road bike in white with the name 'michael koppelman' on the frame, obviously along with it being a beautiful bike it holds great sentimental value.
Certainly extremely distinctive, that bike.
