Would it be worth someone taking the broken D of YS and cutting it with an angle grinder to see how long it actually takes.
I'm pretty sure they didn't spend more than 10 minutes. it was locked just outside of the office in the court yard, and we didn't even notice any noise.
It was locked on the same spot pretty much everyday, so they must have been eyeing for it. -

Fair enough, its such a shame i really like the rsp series, I have the rsp500 at home. I'll keep an eye out for it.

My bike was stolen from outside of the office today. It was locked with a kryptonite evo mini lock to a kryptonite anchor. the thief cut the lock through probably with an angle glinder in a very short period in a gated(unlocked) development.
It's a pastel green Raleigh special products cyclocross bike, and had ksyrium sl wheels, schwalbe cross pro tyres, deda zero100 stem, deda newton bars, fizik aliante saddle, campag centaur ergos, veloce mechs, chorus chainset, paul neo retro cantis, and sks mudguards.Sorry to hear this.
Looking closely at the metal fatigue, I can see 2 vertical lines on the cut, which points to the pinch of bolt croppers.
May have been a combination of both?

The cheek of these thieves is simply absolutely breathtaking.

Yeah I saw the add about an hour or so ago. Super fast putting it on the net. I'm not to sure but would it be worth private messaging people with bikes that look like theirs. Just that I think its been noted in the past that thieves monitor this site and quickly remove the add.

i thought this post was here to help to find stolen bikes and help to eliminate the thiefs!! -
• #3215
Because any discussion to the effect "kick the shit out of..............." that can be tracked from an actual shit kicking event could lead to prosecutions for conspiracy: 10 years in HM Hotel.

Epic typo.
the pictures are good as well, maybe a 'where was this picture taken' campaign on the web could turn up the culprit. That wallpaper's going to stick in the mind of anyone that's ever seen it.

Hi all,
Last Thursday evening, my carbon frame road bike - a Cannondale Synapse - was stolen from outisde the CityPoint Building, Ropemaker St, Moorgate, City of London.
It was locked to a lampost, busy street, early evening, loads of people around.
I've attached a pic of it, taken just a few days ago - and also a catalogue pic for clarity.
Needless to say, I'm upset and furious to have lost such a nice bike.
I went down Brick Lane market today, to see if I could see it there, but no dice.
If anyone has any info on the bike I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Steven

My Kona (fire mountain deluxe) was stolen from the library on Thursday 14th (So I think about a week after you posted). Although I had only locked it up with an ABUS cable lock so I suppose I was asking for it reading this thread.
It hasn't been on Gumtree/ebay yet though.

I mean outside the british library.

Will people please start stating exactly which lock was used
-
• #3224
Why is it crucial to state exactly which lock was used?
-
• #3225
Because its a london bike forum and it would be a help to everyone if they knew which locks did and didn't work.
Also, by posting here you are kinda asking for everyone's help... so its only right that victims help everyone else by giving info like lock, where, when, how, etc.
