Stolen Bike: Iron horse Transit frame 52" , black racepro stem. black faltbars, black brooks saddle, camo green with black tape around crossbar and small 'LOOK' sticker on side. Black Columbus carbon forks. Please be on the look out. South London. Clapham, Balham, Wandsworth, Norwood area.
Got robbed from me at knife point on wandsworth common, chased him, but didn't catch him... Cheers

yeah thats pretty much it, except the crossbar is covered with black tape. And his front brake is campag.

Sounds like a nasty experience. What time did it happen and what did the guy look like? I ride through there twice a day so will keep my eye out...

It was really annoyign because i was with two mates and we would have fought, except that he pulled out a blade. Urm he's black probably about 17, long k-rows, might be riding my bike, about 5 ft 10-11, had two dogs.

How about 200 of us go down to brick lane with D locks in hand, and lock these theiving cnuts necks to railings before beating them, inserting thumb screws and chopping their fingers off with the bolt cutters that will obviously be in their pockets.... Any better suggestions?

theres a very similar mecian parked near pimlico library - will go and have a look at it again to double check and let you know but I believe its a darker marroon rather than red

Atten all you who leave your bikes locked in the Vicky Park / Moulins Road / Back of Mare street area....,.
I had a Felt road bike nicked off the railings in broad daylight last year by 6 youths with a battery powered angle grinder and a set of bolt cutters. It took them approx 2 mins to get through a £60 Oxford D lock and a thick ass chain. Needless to say i ALWAYS take my bikes inside nowadays. Seems these little cunts have started a little industry for themselves. I hope one of them has an accident with that angle grinder...

Im currently in the process of waterproofing postit notes with my number on to go in my frame...Ive got the fear.

My mate has just had his road bike stolen in Oxford, Its a Bianchi Coast 2 Coast 928 and is in Red and White, I think its a 58cm frame and pretty much stock parts apart from it had an extra specialized rib cage water bottle cage. If anyone is offered this bike or see's it about please PM me, my mate is totally gutted about this.

My friend had her fairly distinctive Dawes stolen from Reading Oracle today (25/08) - locks cut in daylight in bike racks. On the off chance they take the train in to London or head to Brick Lane, please keep an eye out.

If anyone gets their saddle nicked east-ways theres a good chance it will turn up at the waste market on Kingsland Road. Theres an old drunk guy who has bags of (mostly Brooks) saddles. He doesnt lay stuff out, you have to know who he is and ask to see things. So if anyone looses a specific saddle let me know and I'll keep an eye out - its only ten quid to get it off him.

iv found your bike it was dumped in a bush by the train track on wandsworth common.
the front wheel is missing and the handle bar is loose. I think it is your bike it is dark green with black tape across the top tube, and carbon fibre forks. to contact me about your bike call +447875503324. If u dont contact me within 4 weeks i will sell the bike on or get rid of it. I live near northcote road by the cemetary.
