has anyone lost something matt black, brakeless, silver track drops, silver shiny deep rear rim?
Saw it being ridden in Merton earlier by someone who didn't look like the owner. PM me and I can describe the rider and the chicken shop he frequents. -

Cube Peloton Pro 2012, Stolen around London Se1
by BryanTsui » Sat Mar 16, 2013 10:22 pmHi, I got my Cube Peloton Pro 2012 stolen last night around Borough High Street (in between London Bridge Tube Station and Borough Station), Post Code: Se1 1JR. It stolen at 15th March in between 6:00 - 12:00 am.
I do not have any photo of my bike but the bike looks like this at shop:
http://www.escapebikeshop.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/c/u/cube_peloton_pro.jpgFrame size 58cm, Colour mainly Black, with white and abit of blue (Just like the photo above)
I also add a pair of Shimano SPD pedals on the bike
And I change the rear tyre to - Michelin Krylion Carbon Tyre, colour white.I cant believe my bike was stolen near a busy road near London Bridge, I locked it with a D lock and a steel wire lock but somehow the thefts managed to get through both of them, they must have a saw or something.
Please keep an eye for me if you are / live around and contact me.
Many thanks.
Bryan

Looks distinctive. I live local and will keep an eye out. Welcome to the neighbourhood!
My beater got stolen from outside my new gaff (hornsey, north london) last night, locked in a silly place where some dicks could just unbolt a parking sign to remove it. Meant to bring it in but there was not much space in the new place as we just moved and then I forgot.
Not sure if it is worth reporting it as stupidly I don't have any for the serial numbers or anything. If you see it let me know, want the tyres back more than anything, only a few months old.

My dad's brand new Ribble got pinched from inside his house yesterday in Catford towards Brockley way. He only had it for a month so nothing too distinctive about it really apart from the blue bar tape and tyres, not a scratch on it! I'ts got a white frame with silver lettering.
If you see it in any markets going for much less than it is worth (£1,200 aprox.), I'm going to check out Deptford on Saturday or if you just see it around an email would be very much appreciated! Or call the police as they also nicked macbooks and jewellery etc!

Hey Lovely forumengers, Just so people can keep them peeled, a Courier thats had a run of bad luck had his bike nicked last night.
He nearly lost his foot 18 months ago because of a c*nt driving a lorry badly...who got 6 points and a £100 fine...(I mean really WTF???) and he's sort of gutted about this...
It was taken from outside the superstore in Leyton (I can't remember which evil corporation)...Anyhow it took them 15 minutes...It was a Carrera Vanquish...in green and black. I think its a 56? it's an Aluminium thing, with a midrange gruppo...I know it's a hellfrauds tho he earns a living on it...I have given him a beater to roll about on til something happier happens..a pug from Errol thats getting a make over...tho if you do see it anywhere ie brick lane or gumtree then ping me here or ring him direct on ohdouble sevendoublethree961093...he's let the police know and I think the 'task force'...when he hopefully said to the copper oh...tho I had it 'recorded' by the police 6 months ago in russell square...with a glimmer of hope that they may have actually entered his or the bike details on something other than a random peice of paper on a clipboard that is now folded up stopping a table wobbling I could have wept....anyhow...please keep an eye out...I'm, sure there are shit loads that look all the same...tho obviously he'd really like it back (even tho thats slim.)
Many thanks. -

My brother-in-law's just had his brand spanking new Red Specialized Roubaix 61cm frame stolen from shed in back garden by canal in W9. It looks just like this one:
He's only had it a month or two. Gutted for him. Seems like a planned job, the thieves knew exactly what they were looking for.
Any help much appreciated. -

Just had some w@£4er try to steal my hub (white industries eno) from my rear wheel outside the Scolt's Head by de beauvoir square, Haggerston. The wheel was d-locked (evolution) to the frame, which was d-locked to the bike stand. Whoever, cut the spokes, fortunately cut it with something that does not appear to have been too sharp as there are a few spokes that are still 'connected' with indentations. Thankfully, I have the bike, the wheel and the hub...also, thank you to the French samaritan who gave me a beer as I walked home with bike over the shoulder and wheel strapped to my bag!

My bike was stolen outside of college the other day (near Temple Station) :(
Thought I'd try posting it around in the hopes of finding it.
Best picture I have of it is attached.
It's a singlespeed with all black parts except for the seatpost. Orbea racing saddle. Only brake lever is on left hand side for front brakes (Shimano Sora). Red handlebar grips. Bontrager RaceLite tyres. DMR V8 pedals. Also, does the brick lane bike market have opening times etc...?
Thanks.

Not stolen, more of a nice story.
I have real bad sleeping patterns, alot of my riding is done at 3AM or so. I went for my usual ride around Leicester city centre and there is a park, Victoria Park. Anyway, opposite this park there is some railings which people lock their bikes up. I noticed someone huddled over one of the bikes, I went back for a closer look and the guy had a hacksaw up his sleeve and was slowly getting at this lock each time a car had passed by.
Me being me, I had to say something, the only thing I could think of "that's not your bike, is it?"
"yes, it is my bike" he said
Obviously not convinced I rode of pretending I accepted the chaps answer, but I was really on my phone to the police, which where really helpful. There was cop van just passing by as I was on the phone and I flagged them down, told them what was going on. They swung a U and did the "POLICE, STAY WHERE YOU ARE" thing and got this guy in the van, turns out it wasn't his bike!
The PO who got this guy is a familiar face around my area so I bump into him maybe once a week and I'm pretty friendly. Last time I spoke to him, he thanked me for catching him red-handed as it's really helped their case as he's stolen a shit load of bikes and they've thrown the book at him. Leicester centre isn't really a big place, but since this guy has been booked, they've noticed roughly half the reports of thefts in the last month!
If you are going to thank me for my good-deed, bacon, whisky or hookers, please.

Sutton Police are apparently doing an event to try and reunite stolen bikes with their owners on 6 April. Worth a look?

Jesus. WAC. There's absolutely nothing you can do about that either...we don't all want arrospoks.
Scolt head / haggerston pub / duke of Wellington. Anything in that triangle is under real threat. Even read on this thread about a guy who was caught sitting at a bike with his toolbox stripping the whole thing. :(
(Bit late, sorry) But you'd think these would be easy collars.
