But I understand he was here illegally, I guess the media think it makes him sound "more innocent" if he's given a nice comfortable job title. It doesn't matter what he was, could have been a mugger, nurse, paedo, cobbler or architect, the fact was he was killed unlawfully.

Not sure, they are probably indifferent as gardeners rarely infringe upon their work.

Plumbers: fat, old racists.
Plasterers: potty mouthed nasty men.
Electricians: like plumbers but younger, less racist and less fat. Often bespectacled. (the most genteel of all trades)
Gardeners: outrageous perverts, usually sex tourists and drug addicts.
