  • I don't want to be insensitive, What, you're obviously not retarded but are you a hunchback? That could explain it. As Tynan would say, I need more detail.

  • yeah that must be a really old version. looks nothing like mine (i've got an ultimate). had a quick peek on the pac website and doesn't seem to match anything.

    how are you wearing it?

  • and this is me with no hunchback, wearing the bag proper..

  • see the first pic, the plastic adjuster hits my shoulder.

  • doesn't look like my old one (the predecessor to the street), or my new one (same as ted's). Don't remember if the old one had the plastic clips on the end of the main strap or not? If it did, it certainly didn't bother me.

  • ah yeah. that looks like a problem that they've sorted out in the newer version. maybe find a bit of padding to stick under the adjuster? and sort your straps out, or you'll trip on them!

  • Or can you pull the clip back so it's above the fabric of the bag?

  • and sort your straps out, or you'll trip on them!

    sage advice.

Or can you pull the clip back so it's above the fabric of the bag?

no, cant do it. thats as far as it goes.

ah well, looks like im stuck with a super old weirde design. just gotta stop putting fridges in like murts said.

  • He is very friendly and I'm sure in the right light he's skinny enough to be confused with a ghost..

  • I'd take Ted's advice to heart. A piece of padding (from an old back back perhaps?) could leave you with, what looks like, a perfectly good bag.

  • see the first pic, the plastic adjuster hits my shoulder.

Can you pull that clip 'forward' so it's closer to your chest?

  • maybe a piece of cloth (or even better, thicker webbing) under the adjuster thingy would be enough to keep it from jabbing you.

  • @hippy could do but then the padded bit of the strap is sitting pretty at the front doing nothing to pad my shoulder.

i did try the long pad from my crumpler bag and it went some way to allieviate it. i might get creative with some padding. cheers for the help folks.
