sigh.
I'll come round to your house one weekend and sort your life out if you want. :) I charge a modest fee?
-
• #503
I've got plenty of offers for a 'sorting out' already but thanks for the offer. :)

I've got a ridiculous amount of stuff that i want to get rid of after moving house. I want cashish cos I already have too much bike stuff. Here's a starter:
Nitto 123 track bars 42cm, bit scratched on one side but otherwise ok. £15
Brown Lepper Voyager leather saddle with 531 chassis. Similar shape and looks to a brooks swift. Fairly well used. £15
Black Brooks team pro (I think)that's used but still in good shape. £10
Timbuk2 bag, 2nd largest size, olive green with a cream central stripe with a cog drawn on it (by me). Well used and a bit grubby but good for someone who needs a bag on a budget. £10

Sweet...Nice one dude. The bars are 25.4 so need to be shimmed for standard quill stems. Baked bean cans are good. Might have a stem on there that you would like, but see what you think when you see them. Fancy coming over this weekend?

Had a look at your profile and email says "n/a"? The saddles are yours but the bag has gone I'm afraid. You can email me at j_lambe (at) hotmail com to arrange meeting up and stuff.

I'm looking for a 151 BCD track chainring. Preferably Sugino Mighty NJS, but would also settle for other Sugino or Campy. Hoping to find something in the mid 40t range.
Let me know if you can help out, you can whisper or send an email to seaneee175 [at] gmail [dot] com

hey,
just got a bike off ebay. wheels are NOS sun ME14A anoidised blue rims 650c laced to Ambrosia fixed track hubs. they are cool but don't suit my riding, anyone wanna swap for a pair of 700c on fixed hubs?
you can see pictures here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260161239628&ssPageName=STRK:MERFB:IID
cheers

kam they look like 700c to me? it's deceiving on old frames which were designed for 27", hence the typically brick clearance. personally i'd keep em :) . have fun with 52:15, or prey it's pancake flat around your place.
-
• #520
yeah i agree with dogsballs they're definitely 700c. both of us have got frames for 27" wheels so we know exactly how it's like.
so dogsballs you nicked my term "brick clearance" eh?
-
• #521
aye, also tried fitting 700c on a 27" frame, looks exactly like that. But I'll still trade them for 700c wheels if you'd like.. :P
-
• #522
eh? what you talkin about willis :p

Haven't really taken it out of the box yet.. busy/lazy/whatever :)
Not sure what to do with it yet. Can't really be arsed working on it and yet.. it might be more entertaining than staring at screens all day.
